- Gaia Dragoon returns with a Beyblade Burst remake! It's awesome that Takara Tomy has decided to release another remastered version of a classic Bey. On top of that, it's an attack type, so who wouldn't love this remake?! On top of the Gaia Dragoon Layer being new, this combo also gets the brand new Around Disk as well. Since Storm Pegasis was so powerful, we sort of have high expectations for Gaia Dragoon. The original Gaia Dragoon and its free-spinning Blades never did that well, but it sure was cool! We'll definitely have to do some official battles with Gaia Dragoon and really put it to the test!
Who should we battle against Gaia Dragoon? Do you like this remake and who else would you like to see come back? There's even more remakes being released later this year....CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE METAL FIGHT BEYS TO MAKE A COMEBACK!

Beyblade never really made an impact in my schoolyard as a kid, had a strong week or two. Then Everyone went back to Yu-Gi-Oh.
problem was you couldn't battle anywhere like you would or could with yugioh, me and a couple friends held onto bey blades but it died out by itself in general.
also the problem that some broke if used so much like a friend of mines did and he was never allowed another one again at the time, im not even sure how much they cost back then.
sad to see i thought it was the best idea for a game and cartoon, as it took physical engagement more so than sitting thinking tactically hoping a good card might appear at the right time like in a yugioh or pokemon card game.

Really takes me back. Gaia Dragoon was always one of my favorites. Especially swapping out the free-spin disks with other Attack Rings.
Does anyone notice that the Around disk has the same gimmick as Orb Egis/Engaard? Both are round and have metal balls.

I was into these when I was young but I don’t remember them being super popular at school. I knew people played with them in my class/grade but they weren’t around at school
This video came up in my Recommendations...And I am not disappointed! I didn't think Beyblade channels were still kicking in this era. It's great to see these remakes of classic Beyblades! Really felt the nostalgia in this one! New sub :)

Strata Dragoon !!! It became by fav beyblade after I first saw it !!! Before I used to love Dragoon but after seeing strata Dragoon, it was something special !!! It's bit beast and even the color of the bey, oh man......I loved it so much that time !!!! ☺️
Takara did an incredible job for this remake. They even kept its gimmicks such as the free spinning Sub AR and and the metal balls.
This Beyblade takes me back. I was born when plastic gen second or third season came out but dang I really do like how the plastic gen remakes are just like the originals
I'm glad old beys are coming back. I don't know if there are more from the classic other then Dragon, Dranzer, and Gaia but I hope so. I would love to see Galeon come back. It was my favorite beyblade. We need the Black Lion back.

Used to have a gaia dragoon V, gaia dragoon G and gaia draggon MS. This version of the gaia dragoon was rare af. Because it was a special beyblade from the v force movie.

Actually 2003 for Japan. We saw it in the movie in 2004 but it never got released. Only Strata Dragoon V, Strata Dragoon G, and Strata Dragoon MS got released in North America.

Very nice remakes are nice for nostalgia, but it becomes quite a bonus if it is actually able to put up a fight against the actual Burst products

Now that brings back some memories, I couldn't find the first two versions of Gaia (or Strata because a lot of us grew up with the show) Dragoon, but I did find the version with the engine gear and I used to love that blade

Gia Dragoon is the beyblade that my auntie bought as we wander around the metro and suddenly found a struggling hobby shop
So when I was in middle school beyblades(back in 01) where a huge thing and I remember I saved up and bought a all metal one off ebay, it destroyed all that went against it.
I wasn’t even around when it came out but it’s one of my favourite beys
LOVE Gaia Dragoon. Never had the original because it was JP exclusive, but always wanted one. Now, honestly, it might make more sense to get the Burst version, if only because they seemed to have improved the design even more. Looks great.

Dude I remember playing yugioh pokemon digemon and beyblade all when I was in elementary . I can't remember which exact beyblade I had but it was Green and the bottom metal piece was golden
the test battles looked so legit realistic (like in the anime, these blades feel alive lmao)
Although I didn’t have a chance to see Original Gaia Dragoon in action ( I born in 2006 ) , I still think Gaia Dragoon is a special and memorable bey to have ! 🙂

They are. It's gonna be in the Beyblade MFB 10th anniversary set in December which comes with Storm Pegasus 10 Glaive Quick', Lightning L-Drago 10 Reach Zephyr', Flame Saggitario 8' Claw, Rock Leone 0 Massive, and Earth Eagle 0 Yielding.
