All she's saying is the refs aren't doing their job. She added criticism of everyone else, but that's because she doesn't want to ONLY call out the refs, for fear of fines.... I watched a game where she got 2 bloody noses and didn't get a call. So, she feels the same crappy officiating as the rest of the W. The refs in this league are really bad. Anyone who disagrees isn't watching consistently.

I see games where everyone gets the raw deal. The Suns nor the Mercury would have beaten the Sky without the refs. I watch about ever game and I am a Kentucky native no stakes in it for me and the team I feel that gets the shaft on calls is the Sky. Did you not see the horrible calls and no calls on them playing the Liberty before the break. Out of all the teams I watch it's like there's a target on the Sky back when it comes to calls. I saw so many slaps on the arm when Zky was shooting and grabbing holding players by the Aces the whole game all day long. That's why Cardoso was so upset. The Sky is the only team that I see that fans don't care if the refs cheat on them when it's obvious the whole game.

She is one of those people who is told she is the GOAT all the time and she believes it! I've watched her play this season and she was atrocious for someone supposed to be the GOAT. She never played for the team, she was stat padding to ensure MVP to the detriment of the team. I loved Cardoso dominating here and scaring her.
I also noticed that she wasn't handling the aggressive defense from Belgium & France during the Olympics that well either. If she is the best player in the league, shouldn't she be used to dealing with heavy coverage?

You must not speak English as a first language! She took responsibility for her and her teams failures, and called out the refs who I thought were so atrocious I was yelling at the television. I don't really understand the point of having rules if the refs aren't capable of applying them in game situations. I will say, that throughout the season ( the first I've ever followed) I think it's absurd that she has been crowned the MVP when there are other players that appear to be playing better than her. Such as Napheesa Collier. Having watched the Aces play 3-4 complete games this year, I'd bet money against them winning a third consecutive title. I'm not familiar with peak Chelsea Gray, but she's painful to watch at this point.
As a former elite sportsman - not team but with partners.
If things are not going well it’s your fault - change what you’re doing to help you team- by play or positioning.
If you’re having problems with the referees calls change what you’re doing to compensate.
These things will happen and it doesn’t help to just think you’re hard done by.
Sometimes there’s nothing you can do - I.e. is beyond your skill level but keep trying and think about what you could do better.

I think the issue is that the Aces are too focused on making sure Aja's stats are high so she can get the MVP this year. So instead of sharing the ball & letting whoever is hot that night get the most shots, they are all just constantly feeding it to Aja. Hammon even commented last year that she regretted pulling Aja out of some of the blowout games because it would have made her stats higher.

That's why we see so much public whining and back-stabbing in the WNBA. Worse, because basketball is a physically aggressive sport, the women at the top level have been pre-screened for high levels of testosterone, which explains the high level of lesbianism and also of male-form violence, like we see from Chennedy Carter. Then there's the topper -- unlike men with successful men, women are driven to tear down and destroy other women who are successful. It's why shows like Real Housewives are successful; they're all about tearing down comparatively successful women. Other women love to watch that. All-in-all, women aren't particularly likable, especially when they have higher levels of male aggression, too. That's probably why women's sports don't have large numbers of fans. (And, conversely, why Caitlin Clark, does. She exhibits excellence, which appeals to men, but without any of the negative aggressive traits of either men or women)

She made a wide open layup. Thanks to Plums moving screen that trapped 2 players, the Sky's terrible call to have Cardoso guarding the inbound, and whoever that guard was in the paint that looked like she was playing in middle school. There was not really anything impressive at all. It was eye rolling more than anything with how bad that was
Collier should be the MVP, pretty inside/out, classy and better basketball moves than Aja. Whenever I see Aja, she always spews and fumes cockiness and always whining.

I agree, that wasn't a good look for Wilson.
However, I'm not a fan of interviewing players during the game.
Half of the time they are too winded to talk, not to mention you're going to get a purely emotional versus a thoughtful one.
Interviewing the coach at halftime is the only time and person that should be answering questions from the media. In terms of the players, keep interviews in the pre game or post game realm.
These in game interviews do a disservice to these women, along with many other things I've observed.
For example, 7 day hardship contracts where you have players playing for multiple teams during a season, like Celeste Taylor or Monique Billings. Why not have a couple more roster spots. It's not like they are paying million dollar salaries nor does it matter that the league has been financially insolvent up to this point.
It's an indictment on the business and marketing perspectives that has hindered the WNBA

I saw the same issues in their game against Belgium. Aja could not hold onto the ball with the heavy defense she was facing. You would think if she is the best player in the WNBA she would be used to facing that type of defense. And what is ironic is the defense team USA was facing in those games & having such issue with looked a lot like the defense CC faces every game in the WNBA.

Reese was not, and is not a serious contender for rookie of the year. She will finish second by default. Clark leads her in every meaningful statistical category but one. Clark’s turnovers are on the high side but that comes with the territory of being an aggressive point guard. Her turnovers will go down once her teammates become more accustomed to her play.
Caitlin Clark is an elite ball player with a skill set to match. Reese excels in rebounding, and that’s it. She’s atrocious around the basket and her field goal percentage bears that out. She lacks basic fundamental basketball skills. When you chuck up four clunkers under the basket on one possession and miss them all that pretty much tells you all you need to know of her skill set, or lack of. She cannot shoot or handle the basketball to any great degree.
In many other years, Reese would contend for the top spot. But not this year.
