My compliments on a fascinating vid. The historical background and the painting demo were great. What was also very impressive was the videography. Exceptional work! Thanks!
Seriously, Submit this to PBS. You might have an opportunity that you weren’t aware of. It was THAT GOOD. Combining art and history. Opens the door to two audiences at once. The only criticism was that the young lady wasn’t introduced. (May have been by her choice). Excellent job, Wild. Please create more.
Ha ha ha - She was kinda nervous to be on camera (understandable being her first time in all) BUT great point going forward 😝. Thanks for the awesome comment - Might be a little early for PBS, I wanna get better at making them and find my groove with the content and audience... Then we will see where we can take it 💪
@@WildCreates you never know. They may see something in the concept and in you they like and then would be willing to help facilitate the show. You never know unless you try. You have a charismatic flair. Until then, I’ll keep enjoying the show on youtube.
Great work Wild! I think you are onto something! Also, I am a soil scientist by training, and your dirt (soil) looks great! I have been following you for over a year, and you have been a great guide for my wet on wet artistic adventures. Good luck!
Well thank you - I always get worried when it comes to dirt... It's so simple and yet... so hard ha ha ha. I am glad that me video can help you out with your painting adventures.
Thanks for this , this kind of tutorial is really useful because it's real world and pretty much how we go about painting at home, we go out and look at our surroundings, take photos and then go back home and paint, hints and tips are useful too but watching someone actually paint is where you really learn technique , definitely the way to go for the future .
Glad you like the real world aspect and applying it to your creative side. I had more pictures that showed what I was referencing while painting BUT for some reason my editing program didn't like them. Hopefully next time I wont have so many issues ha ha ha
Thanks for watching the The Art Of History (AOH as I call it ). Would love to know what you think of this style of video. Be sure to leave me a comment below. Happy Painting All!.
You did a great job and I am so glad to see you used your artist lic, because if you want a picture take a picture if you want art work you have to paint what you see and feel. Great job my friend.
This is such an awesome video! The drone footage is absolutely spectacular, I can see how much work you've put in for this video. Thanks for showing me a cool part of the world! 💜
Man....what a great video and amazing painting!! I REALLY enjoyed this!!! Thank you for sharing childhood memories and your fantastic vision, and excellent tips for painting! I can't wait for the next video my friend!!
That was great! Was really cool how you gave us a history lesson of an area and made a painting out of it as well. Look forward to the next one. Your dirt hill came out so good, mine would look like mush.😄
They next one will be fun too. Currently working on the idea and history for that one. To be honest - I am stoked and astonished the dirt cam out that well ha ha ha.
I really enjoyed this as a so cal resident. I've been on a couple of nature trail hikes with scenic views. On a good clear day you can see all of LA down to LB from Griffith Park observatory viewing deck. Echo mountain in Altadena has a beautiful historical history and some objects of interest. I wish that I'd taken some cool reference photos for projects like this. The content and quality of your video was great and your landscape painting really captured the essence of your subject. Thank you for sharing your inspiration.
Glad you liked it - I think you will the next one too - Visiting a SoCal Beach, so stay tuned for it. I will have to check out the spots you mentioned, If you like hiking trails the ones in Laguna are fun... On clear days you can see to LA and to Catalina island.... super cool. Thanks for the feedback, warms my heart to hear you liked it since I put a butt-load of time and effort into it ❤
@Wild Creates I have been to a couple of trails off of hwy 133 at nix nature preserve. Lots of beautiful flowering and fruitful cactus. Has good pigment, I've thought of painting with. I digress. However, I have yet to visit the beach on a day where the marine layer isn't hanging on. Looking forward to next one!
Ya dude! Excellent content brother! 👌 that's what I'm talkin about. Stepping out of the usual, great editing and shots, very informative 👍 👏 great job!
Longer???? 😱 This one video I worked on for 3 weeks ha ha ha I don't know if I can do any longer ha ha ha I will see going forward... I though 20 mins was a good get in and get out length 💪

If you get the chance - visit the beach after a good strong rain fall and with a sunny morning the next day. You will be able to see FOR MILES 💪
