I had a triple heart by- pass, recently. And this gave me courage and strength.
Now I can't listen to it, without a tear coming to my eye.
I am Catholic but that's a lovely prayer.
I could listen to this for ever. He lost everything and still said GOD is number one!

In my opinion Sardar word means head of family or group . And When Sikh are called Sardarji with respect because they are the leaders or head of not Punjab but whole of India .Their ancestor have stood for the whole country and to this day Sikhs are among the bravest soldier in Indian army. I read in India a hsitory of Guru Nank's influence. He was in Arabia about a year debating with Muslims about religion and God. Many converted to become Sikhs after listening to his logic and beautiful words. Had he remained there just a little longer, Sikhism would have been the predominate religion and the world would be a very different place today. But for unknown reasons he left abruptly at the height of his success there, and never returned.
What Sikh Guru maharaj did for humanity and in particular Hindus still brings tear to my eyes. Hindus are alive today due to Sikh Guru Maharaj. Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru.

It is beautiful. I would just like to say that there are so many things we take for granted until we are at a distance from them. I am a sikh and lived in sri amritsar for 6 years. Went to gurdwara sahab once or twice a week but now that i am in america and crave to go to the gurdwara sahab i am at a place with no gurdwara nearby and now i miss that alot. but the good thing is i am back to Paath and took shelter in gods feet. And the postings here are very nice and encouraging. Thank you so much

i feel the life i live is a confused life. i know deep down inside the meaning of living is to learn how to die, and die only once. to seek transcendental knowledge through devotion and humble love of God. As a sikh raised in Canada, i sometimes feel i need to leave all worldly attachments and focus within. so stuck!!!
