I think my favourite AND least favourite song is “U TRIED THAT THING WHERE UR HUMAN”. It’s sitting so weird in my head and the more I listen the more whatever feeling he’s expressing hits me idk. It puts me in a place for sure
This project works alot better when you take into account its not an album. Its an Ep / mixtape. Just something for us to chew on while we wait for his album. Also these new songs hit alot harder on a 2nd and 3rd listen, im a huge fan and didnt dig any of scrapyard 4 on first time but now i cant get any of them out my head especially WHAT'S IT TO HIM? With that Beatles ahh flow. Great reaction :)
Quadeca is someone who 100% prefers making an experience rather than a catchy tune, you can tell which songs are which, something like guess who works for a banger but a song like being yourself isnt good for like a playlist but in terms of the experience it's incredible
It’s probably one of the saddest if you understand how he feels But the last 4 are easily some of the best work he’s ever put out. Especially guide dog
Guide Dog might be my favorite Quadeca song ever. I don't know if it's recency bias but its just so good to me. His songwriting is just so amazing in the song@@mocapcow2933
Oh, I love it more the more I listen to it. You gotta give a lot of these songs another chance, I feel like they’re gonna grow on you. Pretty Privilege made me cry with the line about doing his hair with a twist because the meaning of it is so sweet. It’s almost on the same level as IDMTHY for me. Also, the whole project is weirdly cohesive for a mixtape of reworked leftovers. 9/10 for me
I could drop a 10000 word comment on what I think of this project and what it makes me think about quads music, music culture, music reviewers (like fantano giving it a 9 and saying guide dog is the only bad track) etc bc I've been thinking a lot about it but all I'll say is ur reaction was pretty similar to mine and I agree with most of what ur saying. There are def some cool tracks on here but also some borderline unlistenable tracks like 'being yourself' imo
'what it to him' has gotta be my favorite from quad...I'm surprised you didn't like it. I believe the song is similar to pretty privilege in that he is insecure and has parts of himself that he "colors" to hide what he truly feels.
I don't see human as a track about people pressuring you into change who you are, I assumed it was him saying he wanted to end his life (tbh it feels like an original version for fantasyworld, especially bc of the similar mixing of the vocals)
@@KidVisionReacts fair enough man, I’m basing my comment off of like half of this single video from the way you are physically reacting to his music and what you’re commenting on. Since you’re talking about the choices he’s making such as when things are more hidden rather than building into a more grand place. I’m making the assumption because a large portion of his music does these things in a very similar fashion. So from the minimal information I have that’s how it presents to me. Clearly you’re saying nah though so I guess I’m wrong lmao
Comment your favorite and least favorite song below!! (and subscribe when you're down here)

‘I got way too many friends I got way too many friends I got way too many friends I got way too many’
Stuck in my damn head. It’s so catchy.

What's It To Him has already grown on me, but for the most part, my opinion is the same as my initial reaction I'm afraid😥

I agree that song is an absolute masterpiece

pretty privilege is def my fav, its abt body image and trying to be the best for one
You forgot Thor Harris on casinni’s division
You right💯
It doesn’t seem like you like his music tbh
@colbyfroude2941 that's a weird thing to say lol. According to Spotify he is my 2nd most listened to artist in the last 5 years
