There is such a wonderful thing as artistic interpretation across cultures. Music need not have a standard delivery that imitates the original lyrics and sound of another country. It's good to abandon provincial notions to better enjoy listening - and living, in general. Love this version.

Agree. I think she brings more depth and spirit to this song. The original is very good but also straight/stationary musically. DK offers this song movement with a more casual feeling.
although neither english or portuguese are my native tongues i can speak them fluently and i think that since im neither. an expert in privileged voices this pretty young lady that sings the girl from ipanema does a nice job the fact that she plays the piano is a huge talent instead of criticizing how she sings listen how she plays the piano superbly...
