Hey Amy!! ☀️ I am LIVING for the cottage home vibes. It gives this timeless, loved feel to a home and makes the most amazing place for family and friends to gather... My fiancé and I just bought a house and we’re going for a collective, Palm Springs desert, mid century, cottage look. Our house was built in 1928 so the the character is ENDLESS. The kitchen needs updated but that is also where the cottage feel hits hard! We have butter yellow countertops and if the one section of countertop wasn’t a replaced, I’d actually keep them. It almost reminds me of the adorable cabin kitchen in safe haven. I love spending time in there and appreciating the small and simplistic space!

Your summer Decor is so pretty! Lemons are my FAVORITE thing to use in my summer decor. They are just so bright and cheerful. I’m always stumped when it comes to trying to define my home decor style, but I think it’s mostly pretty traditional.
I suppose my style is farmhouse, but I find it’s always evolving. It’s been so hard to update it lately since I haven’t been able to go shopping! I used to be primitive and it was beautiful. Mine was compared to Cracker Barrel. I have macular degeneration and was having a hard time seeing dark colors and I went the total opposite way. Farmhouse. I used and painted everything I could. I love it

I really gravitate towards a warm and cozy lived in feeling. I love the modern industrial farmhouse style. I love the woven fabrics, the caramel toned leathers, along with the black metals and raw woods. It I also like really chippy pieces of old furniture. I just found this online home store called Painted Fox Home and ordered the bakers rack that incorporates those industrial elements. They have so much beautiful farmhouse decor it’s scary!! I love the lemon theme too and everything you did looks so cheery and bright! I also saw the shiplap island redo :) 👌🏽

My style is rosy cottage shabby chic. I live in a 1955 ranch style home, with brick outer walls. The bricks used to be street pavers in a town 15 miles from here. They are worn, and have tar here and there. So much personality for bricks😂

Actual antiques are a unique look that can't be totally replicated. Cottage style to me can be colorful and fun. Thrift goods can also add a unique touch without breaking the bank.

Hi Amy, I have a more modern/contemporary look in my home. I have lots of black, metals/wrought iron pieces and dark furniture, but I soften the look with pillows and lots of real and faux greenery and flowers.
Hi Amy! Doing well at home and enjoying the warm days here in NC-not looking forward to the hot days to come tho'. I love the farmhouse and cottage looks. I usually add some seashells/nautical/ red white and blue for summer. I also have a lot of watermelon pieces too. I do love the lemon look-was thinking of adding a small bowl in the kitchen somewhere to brighten it up (it's very dark kitchen).
