Hello, I am a 55 years old French man, and I was very touched by Morgan James' interpretation of a song from "Les Misérables" which I was able to see 3 times in my life in Paris in the 80s. .. Thank you so much
That reached down into the depth of my soul and found something deep, something primal, a pain, an unfulfilled yearning and desire, that will, sadly, remain forever unfilled.
The sound engineer needed sacking for this recording, the Piano and Cello are far too overpowering. It's only saved by Morgan's amazing voice, she is one hell of a singer!
I listened to it again, thinking I may have to remaster it based on your feedback, but i just don't hear it. to me, Morgan's voice is always front and center. I listened on very good headphones, and even on my phone for good measure. I don't have a set of Beats or some other bass cannons to test it out on, that could account for your perspective.
I dunno…honestly I think she did fine, but my impression is this song is best, to use your word, executed by a tenor. Lower voice/key/Tessitura. Just humble opinion.
You can't out sing Susan Boyle. This song isn't for you. Please don't take this the wrong way, you do some wonderful stuff. But THIS song isn't your lane. You strained A LOT on this one.

WOAOOOOOO your performance gave me goosebumps. Thanks for sharing it!
Beautiful without post production grab, like autotune. This is pure and so honest. Thank for this upload!
there is no auto tune or vocal correction anywhere on the channel, I honestly don't even know how to use it.
I’m in love
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!
54 years old and you managed to release a few dark old demons in me....thank you.
One of my favorites.
Please sing DON'T CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA.
This is simply beautiful.
I have listened to this over and over.
Well done Morgan.
You have done many great songs. Here you have outdone not only yourself, but i daresay everyone else who did this song.
Beautifully emotional performance
Nice execution Morgan!

She's using Shirley Bassey phrasing 😁. I think it's great.

I think the overall balance wasn't perfect, but the instruments weren't too loud.
Never sung better congrats
I don't think the song was good for her. It sounded like an execution.
