001 Yarn Bowl - Woodturning

First wood turning project of the year is a yarn bowl for a friend. Turned January 1, 2021 out of a couple types of maple.

I like the features you incorporated in that beautiful yarn bowl--tight neck, squat and heavy to the ground, perfect hole to carry the yarn out. Beautiful wood. Happy Turning for 2020.

Many thanks. It wouldn't help much if the bowl rolled around with the yarn :P I have another one planned in the not to distant future. I hope it turns out as good as this one :)
