Thank you Nathan for this well crafted video! My favourite bases in Tokyo are Tokyo Station and Shinagawa. I usually do not change hotels when staying within Tokyo except when staying in Odaiba.
14 day itinerary for Tokyo visit a different District per day and for the last 2 days maybe visit revisit your favorite spots that you encountered as you purchase last minute souvenirs I say 2 days before you leave because you never know if a souvenir shop is closed that you liked maybe make it 3 days before you leave just to play an extra safe
Good advice on the observation views. Carrot Tower is a good choice and never hear many talk about Mori Tower or the Shinjuku Govt. Bldg. Get a view out of the central area.
Thank you for this video!! Added tips, for those planning - do check out the opening & closing times of the places in your itinerary. Also, do check the weather too. Your videos are some of the best for learning stuff to look out for and planning the trip as you go into much detail to so many unexpected things one may face, which other channels do less so.
Thanks so much for your vote of confidence. I really do try to make it easy to understand but with so much to explain I worry I might make it too complicated!
for the places to visit, how many places should i visit a day for example 1-2 would be akihabara and ueno in one day 3-4 would be asakawa, roppongi, shinjuku and shibuya
It also depends on transit time, keeping things close by with short transits you could potentially fit in 3 but I think that might be a push depending on how much you want to do in one place, I think that asakusa morning, Ueno lunch/afternoon and akihabara late afternoon evening would be possible because how close they are but if you wanted to also include the sky tree it would probably be be a stressful
Have a 15 day trip planned for cherry blossom season this year When I went last year ikebukuro was starting to become the new akihabara with more game stores and anime shops opening up there
