I always use a snuffer, better for the candle, and doesn’t blow anything , around all over the wax , and always trim it before each use !!!!!!!!!! Xxxx

Wick trimmers are a very useful tool for getting inside deep candles....however I find with mine the becomes blunt very quickly....a little hack I recently learnt was to put the 'snippity' bit in salt ( this also works for knives too) don't ask how this works.....but it sharpens it up beautifully!
