That toast looks great to me. When I was a kid my mom baked 10 loaves of homemade bread every week. I would cut it real thick like that and toast it in the oven. SO GOOD!! you guys did an awesome job.

But i still don't understand why competitive eaters still don't decant their Baked Beans and Tinned Tomatoes... Out on top of the crunchy slices of Toast to help soften them up before starting the challenge... Plus it'll also help the Baked Beans and Tinned Tomatoes cool down much quicker... Once they've been evenly distributed over those crunchy slices of Toast... I would much prefer to soften up the slices of Toast with Bean Juice and Tomato Juice rather than cold water... It was good to see Beard (Adam) giving you some encouragement throughout guys... Better luck next time... Cheers guys.🍺

Growing up in Northern Ireland, I was never a fan of grilled tomato or mushrooms on breakfasts. I love mushrooms, just not for breakfast, plus I much prefer tinned plum tomatoes on a breakfast. Hash browns were unheard of. We had fried soda farls and fried potato bread, and maybe fried bread too. Black pudding a must, white pudding optional. Fried eggs (sunny side up) and/or scrambled eggs essential.
