yeah, he went for evil evil, the rest went for comedic evil
They should've responded "We're EVIL! Not MONSTERS!"
@@noahmehringer29 yes
The problem is, I feel like it’s genuinely wild that all of these evil geniuses really didn’t think about creating machines that are just designed to do absolutely heinous shit, and that Roy is getting this treatment. Clearly, Roy’s the only one that understood the assignment, a proper villain amongst villains. Bro’s trying to spit game at a whole room full of Doofenschmirtz-s
Everybody hates pillaging orc war bands, but when you create a disease to exterminate the whole orcish race, suddenly you are a madman? THOSE FOOLS WOULD RATHER PLAY WHACK-A-MOLE WITH MUDERERS FOREVER INSTEAD!
@@JOECURR1488Based, except Quinton Terrantino he is a toe licker, where's Dan Schneider?
"We're villains, but like, Saturday morning cartoon villains. Not... Whatever this is, Jesus."
that's jeffrey dahmer levels of evil
Rem8ndsmeof that comic when joker finds out the other guy is an actual real 3rd reich nazi "i might he a villain, but i AM an american!" And pulls out a gun XD
In _Rocketman,_ the gangsters stop the Nazis under the same premise.
The only student to both understand the assignment AND get expelled at the same time.
Task failed successfully
Failing upwards
No, they succeeded downward
"I'm sorry, I thought we were going for "Societally Reprehensible"?"
The artillerist's most evil idea is weather that happens naturally - if infrequently - in Michigan.
Colorado here, blizzard in July is definitely a thing.
And I’m Canadian
Artillerists are just that pure.
Oh for Michigan she has a setting that just makes the Lions play amazingly well and doesn't use it
@@crackedjabberfor you she has the canadianinator it makes everyone think everyone in Colorado is actually Canadian
My favorite comment from the actual SNL post "the rest of them are scientist, Roy is an engineer"
Reminds me of Vampire: The Masquerade and the Setites invading town. Everyone expects them to be evil evil because that's the propaganda. Meanwhile the Setites are really into just tempting you with the thing you think you want most to make you question your life choices.
So the town preps for murder hobos, and the Setites are like "Yeah, we're going to open a fitness center next to a doughnut shop so fat people can stare at other people exercising while they keep getting fatter, and gym nuts can stare at food they're denying themselves and all those New Year's resolution people can just give up on day one. Oh, and also we're going to open a day care. It is going to be a really excellent day care providing top notch childcare via ghouls who have 1 dot of presence so that the children all adore them and want to stay at Daycare with Ms. Tanya and never see their actual parents again. Meanwhile the parents can either feel guilty when the kids say how much their daycare teacher is better than they are, or they can use it to fuel their workaholic tendencies, taking even fewer breaks and having fewer social connections."
Etc. Etc. Because you don't know evil until you've made someone shatter their own life when they couldn't live up to their own expectations.
I shared this video with my vtm group chat before I started scrolling the comments lmao. Enjoy your nights!
I mean that is what The Ministry does. They tempt you with every actual sin possible. Vampirism being the starting point
This sounds like some wyrm shit.
Are we certain it isn't some wyrm shit.
Systematically eroding family relationships sounds pretty evil acutally... Depending on how many ghouls they have its also scaleable. Which really is the kicker, ain't it? A global corporation lobbying against child labour protection around the world can do so much more evil than a single murderer ever could. All without actually having to pick up a knive or a gun at all.
The fact that I just got out of a WoD Character Analysis for this short only to witness this comment.....
When you tell people you killed Scratch and Karlach in your Dark Urge run and they give you shit..."i'm sorry i thought we were playing Dark Urge, I want my camp to only have Withers in it so we can both read in silence."
I think someone should call the police
Ha see! This guy gets it!
I made my Dark Urge a Druid so they love animals but hate everyone else
The most acting Dwayne Johnson has ever done lol
He's actually hilarious in most appearances. The guy can flip his demeanor on a dime.
This is why you articulate WHAT KIND of evil game your running. We Artificers have a knack for overachieving.
The caption should have been “session one of an evil dnd campaign that didn’t have a session zero.”
Incredibly rare footage of the Rock actually acting and wearing something other than a tank top.
Yeah he's actually acting well here.
"I mean that's gotta be where the goal posts are right?" LOL
Real world evil vs. fictional evil
This is one of those.
Even evil has standards.
We are the evil guys! Not the psychopaths
kind of reminds me of venture bros, when scare bear shows up at the revenge society recruitment drive. 3 very obvious comic book style villains are approached by a completely silent man wearing a filthy bear costume covered in dried blood and wielding a blood-stained knife. they are all very uneasy about his presence. a doctor doom knockoff, an evil reed richards knock off and a guy with invisible, indestructable limbs that can electrocute people are scared of what of a potential serial killer
This had real inversion of "Dr. Venture presents the Oo-ray" vibes
Blizzard in July.... How sweet and innocent. that's just called regular July in Canada. seen it in August too... come to think of it, I've seen snow every month of the year.
We got snow in June last year and this year in Alberta…. Last weekend actually.
Oh you too, ain’t it neat how Canada works
i wanna get in the snow and make snow angels, snow angles and a tony snow armor
@@souledge4924. ”works”
Hell, with how Climate Change is going the Blizzard-Gun is now arguably not evil at all.
Depending on where all the heat goes it might actually be quite helpful!
@@2MeterLP >>Creates a Freeze Ray.
>>It combats climate change and the waste heat can be used to heat the homes of the poor for free.
"Did you not understand the assignment?"
@@GleefulNihilism No, she's just the cousin to that Villain That Accidentally Keeps Helping
"I understood the assignment. You invented air conditioning... which already existed."
Use it at the sources of rivers in the winter to help reduce the effects of drought.
This is actually the funniest SNL skit i have seen in decades.
I was not expecting that.. lol
That “…oh.” From the audience after the Mussolini bit 😂😂😂😂😂
"The more you know 🌈"
The delivery of "in, frankly, half the time," killed me
I still can't believe they went all the way on this concept.
When cartoon evil meets real evil. I prefer the freeze ray.
I mean, you can make the freeze ray Duane artificer evil in moments if you just think about it. How big is the radius of the freeze ray? Because everything caught in it is subject to hypothermia. Their brains and organs would just shut down. Be like taking 2d100 constitution damage all at once. Sure it'd be relatively painless, but we can change that based on how cold cold is. If not ridiculously cold, give it a few moments for them to feel their thoughts and body slipping. If only a round.
If large enough, just every living thing dies. The plants, the animals, the people.
It's not as graphic, but it'll get the job done. With the added bonus of noone takes the freeze ray seriously. Meaning if caught, probs could get off on a minor charge. Make a deal to develop war weapons for Ukraine or whatever.
Evil is an abstract. The only real evil is the weakness of the human mind not to think it over. Not even it's call to depravity.
I mean this isn't even real evil. This is comedically over the top evil.
Also there is the lack of self convincing. A lot of real life evil involves the evildoer believing they are doing the right thing.
I'm pretty sure the freeze ray could have a practical use, unlike the robot. Preserving food, for instance, despite the freezer burn.
Only dude who got the assignment right, not kind of evil, actual evil.
He understood the assignment.
The Red skull called, he said tone it the hell down
I think this clarifies the reason why a Session Zero is necessary in D&D. Clearly nobody here really set the limit of what is allowed at the table.
lmao why does that last guy look like Talesin Jaffe
Well they gave Beck Bennett small glasses so he kinda of looks like Percy. But now that you've pointed it out he does look like Taliesin now that I'm comparing them.
I've seen this before and I think about it from time to time when the topic of evil player characters comes up. It illustrates that it's very important to place parameters on what counts as "evil" abd what is simply inappropriate.
If you’re going EVIL, GO EVIL!
A child predator robot may be worse but at least it can be destroyed, 30 inches of snow could borderline annihilate a town that doesn’t get cold weather.
The can be produced for pennies . . . How many can you destroy before one of them gets through?
I love how they're all artificers too
I've gone Roy in campaigns before, but more of the Mussolini part lol
No, no…. He’s got a point….
Villains: "We may be evil but it doesn't mean we're monsters! WTF!"
I'm glad to see this skit is remembered.
Most evil thing i have done was steal a time machine and "invent" taxes.
Interesting; I went for inventing intellectual property to suppress further time travel development.
0:52 well to be honest a blizzard July sounds really nice.
If you're playing in an evil campaign and another player brings an artificer, make sure to make friends with that character. And preferably, always stand behind them in battle
Given how miserably hot it is right now, I dont think Baroness Antarctica is even comically evil. She is just a good guy that hasn't found her audience yet.
Holy shot how have I never seen this clip before?!?!
It’s easy to say because he already does it telling you the truth in a joke.
Old, but still devilishly funny.
This is hilarious! Where is this clip from, if I may ask?
Thanks! It’s from an SNL sketch a few years back. Here’s a link! th-cam.com/video/z0NgUhEs1R4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WtPhn3IG7iC1ABla
I figured it had to be, cause otherwise Dwayne Johnson's Deepfake is getting away from him xD
I was eating noodles the first time I watched this.
I literally almost died choking on chicken flavored ramen.
Alchemist: dude we are cartoonish evil not evil evil
see the shrink-guy gets it
The best Rock skit
I love this!
This man is being oppressed for simply following the rules. He is a man of TRUE evil. Not these pretenders.
Why does the alchemist sound like talisan jaffe 😂
I was just the idea guy. Like von Braun. It's not my department where the rockets land. What is wrong with these quote on quote people
"Quote on quote people" are the _worst._
You built a freezer
😂😂😂 I'm glad I don't watch SNL. cause i wasn't expecting that
Weirdly messed up and of pocket.
Hey, the DM asked for it, its his fault.
Irrefutable proof that SNL is still producing ideas that could easily make amazing movies. They're just unwilling to make anymore movies.
#NotOurBrandOfEvil
Legion of doom
Is that the fucking rock
IOF scientist
Wait . . . was that last guy Percy?!
Evil campaigns are always not a good idea
We had fun in ours. Five unrelated, mid level morally unconstrained adventurers - a Demonologist, Illusionist, Necromancer, Alchemist and a Battlemage - gather at castle Drahenfels after rumors of its riches and lore. Only to realize mid excavation, that a host of paladins and do-gooders are a few march days away from demolishing it. Reason for cooperation: survival, greed, defiance. Planning, negotiations, backstabbing and lots of fun.
🤨 how’s this funny
This was the skit that made me give up on him.
You know it’s a skit right?
@@jonathanwells223 I clearly stated "skit" in my comment. No one with morals would perform in such a skit and definitely would not say "Hail Sat@n" at the end. What is the purpose of saying that on tv except to show you support it.
This is the laziest video I've ever seen. Txt over SNL? Stupid.
None of this is even remotely funny
