The hydro steam is my favorite, because it has a steam only option, so it doesn’t saturate the carpet. You can get 90% of stains out with just steam and suction

The biggest advantage is creating a sanitary environment compared to regular rug cleaners that just push water around that can later produce mold or similar

The hydro steam had less smearing on its side and its nozzle is a lot wider. I do wonder which machine emits hotter water. I have been wanting the steamer but read reviews that the steam is not hot enough

I just got a hydrosteam - the steam isn't that hot IMO - if you put your hand up to the steam, it's really only kind of hot right where it comes out of the nozzle

The pro heat does not make it's water get hot. You have to put in hot tap water.
