+Llama That is what I love about The Gramah Norton Show, he puts a great mix of people together on his show, and everyone clicks and they genuinely look like they are enjoying each other and having a good time!
Not weird at all IMO. Perhaps a bit unusual but we're supposed to get along like that even if we disagree on things. Respect should be both given and taken in every situation.
Hugh Laurie's comment on wanting to play his father made me re-watch this interview three times. He talks about the instinctual urge to mimic parents - the resulting potential guilt of being "not good enough" - and the process of self-discovery... in 10 seconds. The man needs his own talk show.
It still throws me off when I hear Hugh speak with a British accent (I'm American). He nailed the American accent so well in House. I didn't know for the longest time he was a Brit.
+Todd VanSlyck What's a british accent? Do you mean scottish, Leisester, welsh, northern irish, south-east london, north london? BE MORE SPECIFIC. The UK is a very large place with hundreds of accents.
I'm high and the hugh laurie speech about being fake versions of your own father gets to me and I spent thinking about it 30 minutes then I remembered I was hungry and ate some nutella. I'm good now
+MrSeamus007 Why is he wrong? I totally get where he is coming from. Especially if you have any sort of admiration towards your father what he is talking about is very true.
I have complete admiration/love for my dad. But humans look for patterns in everything, it's human nature, for example; I really like marmite, so does my dad, maybe I like marmite because he does or maybe it's just because we both like marmite irrespective of each other. Weak example but I think you can make others in your head. Some guys do try follow in there dads footsteps, and some just end up following their dads footsteps, but not all, so what I disagree with is his "most men" I think it's more 'some men'. Though I don't have all the answers, nor is it a field I care about deeply.
I really love this clip. Four completely different people talking tenderly about their children and how proud they are, and finding such a wonderful common ground where they can all relate to each other and love listening to each others stories. Extremely heartwarming
+Devilsblight86 Yes and no. I remember him way back in the 80s in NWA and he has aged but he's one of those people with the gift to age gracefully imo plus I'm sure he dyes his hair now :)
It's because we can be very condescending as a country. We don't mean to do it, we just do it automatically. We're the most passive aggressive country in existence
+MisterCovek I think it's the show. People tend to be their natural selves on this show. For example, Will Farrell usually plays some sort of character on the American chat shows, on this one he's just being himself.
+MisterCovek just an impression maybe, saw him in different shows in USA, in Wendy's in Letterman's, he was that chilled, funny guy. Ice has always been between the thug persona and the funny guy, it could summarize his whole carrer as a rapper and a actor, on one hand he performed many hardcore songs and on the other hand he did a lot of family and comedy films.
+lkjp07 people forget that even if ice cube grew up in LA not every guy in that part of LA was a gangsta and a bad guy, comparing ice cube to eazy e was two different worlds, one was a lyrical genius and the other was a drug dealing "thug"....both very respected in my eyes but one has more value to what he provided
I love this interview, how all of them are from different places, of different races, and of different backgrounds, by are still able to have a laugh and friendly conversation together. Some people need to take notes on this
Koldraiyne DownSkayle The actress Ice Cube's son was having sex with wasn't his mom, you worded it confusingly...but I get your point....it's like incest but not incest at the same time 😅
As an American watching this show I love how this show has a great mix of actors/musicians/etc. There is no show like this on American TV. I wish I could watch this live on TV instead of on the internet.
I really liked watching Cube and Kev watch Hugh talking about his father and the concept of following their footsteps. I feel like they rarely get to be in the circle of deeper conversation because there is an expectation of them to be funny.
Isn't Ice Cube Muslim though? No idea if he's practicing but Muslims don't drink alcohol so that could be a reason why he chose to drink bubble tea maybe?
Kev stole the show. Man I wish he had his own show where he just talks and tells story. I don't care if they are real or not but the way he tells stories is something
I love how Ice Cube and Kevin are just listening to the other guests talk and not just pretending to be interested in what the others are saying! This must be the most interactive sofa on the Graham Norton Show yet
+DustinJD no that's what happens when u have stage lights and the show is too small to afford ac. U won't see people sweating like that on Fallon when they are peddling tricycles around the studio.
***** Hair is very important when you don't have anything underneath it.But seriously making people feel bad for themselves to make money is pure evil.
***** I suspect you were paid to write these comments on regular basis(something very common) and if you aren't you are behaving like you are. Again hair are just hair and if you are making people feel bad about themselves to make money you are pure evil.
Kevin Hart and Hugh Laurie are some of my favourite people and I'd never thought I'd be seeing them on the same show together, let alone genuinely laugh at each other (Kevin @1:25 and Hugh @3:36)
listned to ice cube for the first time in 89'. don't think 9 year old white boy was who his audience was but is a big part of me!! Also his son was amazing playing his dad in straight outta Compton. peace!
Kinda weird that there is perfect energy between them, people from all different situations and places naturally getting along and bonding.
+Llama That is what I love about The Gramah Norton Show, he puts a great mix of people together on his show, and everyone clicks and they genuinely look like they are enjoying each other and having a good time!

I don't know why, but you just made my day👏😂
That's what I was thinking

this spoke to me on a deep level.
Legit. He did comedy, did drama, he needs to preach
It still throws me off when I hear Hugh speak with a British accent (I'm American). He nailed the American accent so well in House. I didn't know for the longest time he was a Brit.
His American accent fooled me for a long time as well.
+Todd VanSlyck don't forget Stuart Little 1&2+kevinmodernfamily20
I thought I was going crazy, I was thinking that can't be Dr.House .
+Todd VanSlyck What's a british accent? Do you mean scottish, Leisester, welsh, northern irish, south-east london, north london? BE MORE SPECIFIC. The UK is a very large place with hundreds of accents.
OK OK I get the point. ENGLISH accent.
How did I not notice this before?!? Ice Cube has the most gorgeous eyes
always wearing a hat
+Jannara Cause he's nervous lol
And smile!!
+Elira Sadiku Because you noticed the color of his skin first and easily gave up
I have problems :(, please pray for me:)
I'm high and the hugh laurie speech about being fake versions of your own father gets to me and I spent thinking about it 30 minutes then I remembered I was hungry and ate some nutella. I'm good now
damn, inspiring
mmm...Nutella...chocolatey and nutty...like Kevin Hart...mmm
that's deep 😕
+grbafy bet you are 11 and not even high you just want to seem cool
+97jimmy97 no im 19 and have daddy issues and the munchies
That's pretty deep what Hugh said
He said it with such conviction as well. I mean he's wrong, but good on him.
+MrSeamus007 Is he, though?
+Mitchell Grosvenor I've rarely heard Hugh Laurie talk about his private life or family life so it was quite moving.
+MrSeamus007 Why is he wrong? I totally get where he is coming from. Especially if you have any sort of admiration towards your father what he is talking about is very true.

And I wondered where they found an actor that looked so much like him...
lol
Lol!!!
Probably from Iceland.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I love the way he interviews, he makes it seem like if you were in your living room talking to friends or getting to know some new acquaintance.
....Is it just me, or is Ice Cube ageless?
Black don't crack black don't crack!
+Devilsblight86 Yes and no. I remember him way back in the 80s in NWA and he has aged but he's one of those people with the gift to age gracefully imo plus I'm sure he dyes his hair now :)
+Lady Deadpool 💋 kind of like dr dre
I watched are we there yet years ago and he looks the same with the hair and beard and stuff lol
its true ice cube never ages only his hairstyle and beard changes over years
Wow, Ice Cube is different in England. He's almost shy. He smiles more, laughs at Kevin's jokes, he's more humble. Not an ounce of thug in England.
It's because we can be very condescending as a country. We don't mean to do it, we just do it automatically. We're the most passive aggressive country in existence

Hugh Laurie comes across as a very smart, well spoken man. Extremely talented at acting as well!! One of the most underrated ones out there
Laurie said all the right things. Good man.
Licking the wall 😂
lobreddemon what
lobreddemon Kevin said it when he was talking bout his son
lobreddemon He said "licking" :)
looking at the wall. dumbass
He actually said LICKING the wall!!
I love that all these people are together here. Each very talented in their field!!!
How awkward must it be filming a sex scene pretending to be your dad.
jermaine tobin ohh ewwww I can't imagine that
I know right!! I would die
@@melissawright1979 you’re a girl, tf u talking bout

I find it really funny and cool watching hugh laurie and kevin hart laugh ate each others jokes
Calou Caralho
Kevin Hart is so charismatic and hilarious. Gotta love him
Sonny Etchell true so true
Kevin's daughter will make a great comedian
Oh I agree👍🏾
He should do a skit with her on stage.
trina crawford i don't know about exposing kids to the public like that.
I’m so amazed at the Graham Norton Show, it’s so good at bringing people of different cultures together but talking about relatable topics.
I love this interview, how all of them are from different places, of different races, and of different backgrounds, by are still able to have a laugh and friendly conversation together. Some people need to take notes on this
I'm sitting here like who is this man he looks familiar.... "I played a doctor" OH MY GOODNESS it's House!!!!!
Future Nurse Tea oooooohhhhh i just noticed

Kevin was cracking up at 1:30 =)))) and Ice Cube was patting his back to calm down.. HAHAHAHA!! =)))
Hugh is so well spoken, just the way House's character was. Love it
"I'm playin"
"Naw you ain't playin 'lickin the wall'"
Am I the only one here that realized their wasn't no ice cube sex scene in the movie
maybe it was filmed but cut out of the final product.
There was a girl sitting on his lap in the hotel room but idk
Koldraiyne DownSkayle that will be horrible
lmao didnt even think about that.
Koldraiyne DownSkayle The actress Ice Cube's son was having sex with wasn't his mom, you worded it confusingly...but I get your point....it's like incest but not incest at the same time 😅
i watched the clip 5 times where the doctor say's "no"
Dr. No
No.. needs a timestamp to have it on repeat.
Ameen Shah 🤣🤣🤣🤣 & Kevin’s reaction
As an American watching this show I love how this show has a great mix of actors/musicians/etc. There is no show like this on American TV. I wish I could watch this live on TV instead of on the internet.
People you'd never think would get on having a great time together.

when u have the money ... u can do that in ur shoe without thinking twice :)
...... I noticed that too... I am not scuffing my Johnston and Murphys like that!
Xilo Channel
haha :D
karimkopra do what?
rest his foot on his other shoe
He does that a lot actually, saw multiple interviews and photos of him doing it.
I really liked watching Cube and Kev watch Hugh talking about his father and the concept of following their footsteps. I feel like they rarely get to be in the circle of deeper conversation because there is an expectation of them to be funny.
Title of the video is horrendously not right.
it should've mentioned hugh laurie's story about his dad!
I scrolled for an entire minute to find this comment.
1:25 Hugh almost let out a smile when he for sure saw Kevin laugh but he kept a straight face. Comedian through and through lol
Is Ice Cube drinking milk?
+Vila V Looks like bubble tea

Jesus Christ, House has aged. Must be Lupus.
That's a lazy diagnosis ITS NOT LUPUS
+akuffo96 Somebody do a whipple
+akuffo96 It's NEVER Lupus!
I say it's kawasakis
Ikr... not sure about the lupus though.
When Hugh starts dropping some knowledge, PLACE GOES SILENT! Love Hugh!
0:08 OMG 😳i just realized that he's gorgeous like he soo pretty dammmmmn 😮 he's soooo beautiful
His father looks better, personally
Haha the mix of Olivia Colman and Ice Cube is amazing
hugh laurie speech was such a smart insight of most father/son relationships. you can even see his brain while hes speaking
The best episode ever. Watched the whole show again twice, was hilarious :'D
everyone is sweating
+97jimmy97 That's what happens with all the stage lights on you.
+97jimmy97 Lights are hot yo
i understood the science to it.
+DustinJD no that's what happens when u have stage lights and the show is too small to afford ac. U won't see people sweating like that on Fallon when they are peddling tricycles around the studio.

Man, Kevin Hart could go for hours talking, not to mention about his daughter :) Also, Hugh Laurie. What a nice couple of guests.
“None of them have followed in ur footsteps”
“No.”
Kevin Hart and Hugh Laurie are some of my favourite people and I'd never thought I'd be seeing them on the same show together, let alone genuinely laugh at each other (Kevin @1:25 and Hugh @3:36)
i love the beauty mark triangle Ice Cube has on his face
1:25 "No" lmao so plain. Love it.
i just love watching celebrities talk about their children. it's heartwarming.
Hugh Laurie just stole this whole segment. Great respect for him.
Graham is a really good conversation maneuver to be honest, the way he throws the questions in order is really quite smooth

3:39 the way Hugh Laurie is laughing, you can tell he has witnessed his son doing some stupid things lol
