Im a loner, I always have been, for a lot of reasons, not because I don’t like people or I don’t get a long with people but simply because I enjoy being with myself, thinking and appreciating nature. But people confuse the meaning of a loner. Just because I like being alone doesn’t mean I don’t want people to care about me. Like, what was so wrong with me that my dad didn’t want me? My teen years and my twenties were filled with a lot of anger and resentment. I’m ok now but this song brings me back to that time and my heart goes out to all the kids who feel like life has stripped them of all emotion. Y’all are not alone. We see you. We’re here for you.
