What an absolutely beautiful baby monkey! I love how sweet, gentle, well mannered and sweetly happy natured your baby is! She doesn't seem uptight or stressed out all like all the other Monkey Babies I've seen are! I Believe with all my heart that God created these precious little ones for each of us to have in our lives if we choose to want them! I have notice through several vids of this species as babies the silver leaf latung are more sensitive and affected more not being with their mothers in the wild..cry more..always trying to suckle and showing much stress and frustration
Please stop suffering this poor animal. It needs someone who can cuddle it like its mom who he needs so desperately. I beg you please take it to a sanctuary. Look at him trying to suckle, give him a bottle, he is hungry.
if your gonna insist on owning a monkey then at least give it the proper care & attention it needs. baby monkeys require just as much physical contact & affection as human babies, so when it comes towards you & its crying... take a hint, pick the poor guy up, it wants to be cuddled to feel secure. its actually calling for its mom but seeing as how thats no longer an option since you, or whoever you got it from, have obviously stolen it from its mother, the least you could do is comfort it & give it the best possible care. or better yet, take it to a sanctuary where trained staff & caring volunteers can help rehabilitate it to live a normal monkey life back in the wild to live among its own kind since monkeys ARE social species & need that interaction. imagine some creature much larger than you with whom you had no way of communicating to & had no control over that creatures actions, such as snatching your infant right from your arms as you helplessly yell, jump around & panick as you watch your baby being taken away as it screams for you, crys for you, squirms to get away from its kidnapper all the while your baby is clearly terrified & confused... hows that sound? & if you think monkeys dont feel emotions with such great depth as humans do then you are poorly educated in that regard. if you truly knew & understood what that baby monkey & its mother had to endure in order for you to have your precious little pet, then you wouldnt own a monkey as a pet.

hope you can understand what I am saying.....using Monkey has a tool for those like me with medical issue to where going outside is a task we really don't want to do. Anxiety levels go high during day to day activities and to keep ourselves to a more controllable situation for ourselves is not to do anything. Monkees need love and caring. The person who will have a monkey will not only have a friend and someone (yes, someone because they are our cousins) to look after, giving us a purpose but, a monkey will love the person....would like to try and see if program would work by becoming the first one and see the relationship between Monkey and disabled person like me.
