    I've just realised how professionally made these videos are. A clean,white surface with bright, diffuse lighting, excellent volume control and fantastic thumbnails, plus the actual content being top notch. Thank you SOUNDsculptures, for this portfolio of professional work!

    Relaxing and educational at the same time :) I never knew there's a fuse inside of a British plug before.

    Very nice! I really like this "tinkering" sort of video you do. My curiosities with how things work mixed with the sounds they make is a great combo. Thanks for this.

    I have been subscribed since you uploaded your second video, I believe it was an unpackaging (?). Thank you for giving me 10 minutes of bliss once or twice a week, it really makes my day when you upload a video (:

    The tinkering and fidgeting of your fingers alone give me the tingles. Thank you :3

    Omg, after a long day of hiking in the mountains, you seriously have no idea how awesome this is. You picked the greatest day to make a new video. It's as if this was intentionally made just for me. I'm going to go ahead and believe that. Lol. Thanks! ;)

    You have great lighting taste. And actually have been doing what I have been meaning to do for ASMR videos. So thanks for showing that this style works!

    @SOUNDsculptures, interesting to see the plug assembled although I would've thought there would be a "seal/strain relief" (grommet) component where the cord passes into the plug casing. The sounds were great on this, the small "clinks", the handling of the fuse packages etc., & no power tools... I have yet to understand why some people use very loud/disruptive sounds in videos which should bring on relaxation, not distress. You did a great job with it! ^_^

    Is there anything you can't do? lol Great video btw, you somehow know how to turn literally everything into asmr. I never in a million life times would have guessed rewiring a plug would be so relaxing. Awesome job :)

    great video! my plug fitting adventure wasn't quite as nice and quiet the other day as the plug I was fitting had a rubber strain relief gland like thing and with that in the way the line and neutral were too short and left exposed cooper grrrr! I'm visually impaired to which didn't help 😉

    Wow, I haven't seen, that there is a fuse inside the plug. The plugs here in Germany don't have a fuse in it.

    • @Zealix
      @Zealix 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's because ring circuits are common in the UK, but not elsewhere. In Germany and the rest of Europe radial circuits are used.

    Are you an engineer? You love to build things and know the intricate details of how something works from what I've gathered. You remind me of Michael Scofield from Prison Break.

  •  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did it work then? I believe the wire is painted which also isolates so you should sandpaper it away.

  • @Fleebag47

    Always wondered why your plugs were so much bigger than ours. We don't usually have fuses in US plugs. I want that fabulous wire stripper tool, too.

    Once these are plugged in, they stay plugged in. I always find it a bit strange in other countries when you can accidentally pull the plug by jiggling the cord too much.

    fuse wouldn't do anything, the fuse it there if there is a fault on the appliance and it pulls to much load the fuse would blow before any damage is done. also lots of plugs have things that cover up that hole :P

    Lol, this bringef memory in my mind; once when i was in school, i was using switchable power supply that converts 230v AC to 0.5-12v DC, and when it was plugged in, my idiot friend took pliers and snapped the 230volt power cord, and almost got a shock from it! There was small ball of lightning and a electric burn on the table, and i could have got a electric shock too, but i didnt got one (phew..) sorry for not-so-good english grammar :P im from finland so im not the best on typing english :/

    the screwdriver you used is actually very unsafe to use for live electricity stuff, so you know. I, personally would use it to find wiring in walls, but for nothing else. (I know, it was a plug fully isolated from mains 240v, but I couldn't help but say)

    • @MrNinjaSkittles22
      @MrNinjaSkittles22 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +weeowey Why does it matter if there is no electricity going to it?

    • @20EsOfficial
      @20EsOfficial 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      in the case that you accidentally touch it to live voltage whilst you are checking for live voltage

    BAD job on wiring the plug, 1. the live was to long and should have been shorter the the neutral 2. you did not install the cable grip correctly
