i also brought this tv last month, after checking its screen resolutions i called them and they (TCL customer care ) on record told me "Jo krna hai kro ". but the main issue is that they them self don't know about it, actually the LCD panel is in reality is of 1080p , but for Android os they set it for 720p, so that it don't have to scale the pixel for view as it is just 32" tv and full hd will not be readable from distance, you can set the resolution to 1080p using ADB commands, or can try fire stick or any other Android box. i compare the pixel with my old Philips's 32" HD ready tv and there is lot of +ve different with clearly and view experience.
