The whole album was Sabbath's take on glam metal (hair metal), a genre then-former lead singer Ozzy Osbourne moved into at this time as well. Unlike Sabbath, Ozzy stuck with hair metal for three albums (The Ultimate Sin, No Rest for the Wicked, and No More Tears), and also unlike Sabbath, the move to hair metal produced a top 40 hit for Osbourne in the form of a ballad, "Mama, I'm Coming Home", which peaked at #28 in 1992 (he also guested on Lita Ford's "Close My Eyes Forever" in 1988, which peaked at #8).
I would love to see Seventh Star, Born Again, and The Eternal Idol as a "Warner Brothers" label box set with each album remastered by Mr. Iommi. Take my money for it right now! 🙂
Technically, a whole different label owns The Eternal Idol. They going to include it in the Tony Martin box set and couldn't, since the other label and company was unwilling. Plus that had already been remastered by Tony once before, with the Ray Gillen demos included. Born Again has been remastered in a deluxe edition aswell. This album was done aswell in 2010.
@@johnbon6Remastering and remixing are two totally different things. Born Again might have already been remastered but Tony has stated numerous times he plans on remixing it.
@@johnbon6they could be released through the rhino imprint of warner as eternal idol was warner as well as born again and 7th star. and universal else where a deal could be made easily. i even think tony could have theoretically gotten eternal idol on the martin era box set due to the Irs era stuff being reissued under rhino(warner). and the dehumanizer album was similar to the martin irs era stuff as it was warner release everywhere but i believe uk and possibly europe.

@@Hzim007 This is hardly their worst. Glenn's singing and Tony's playing set this album ahead of most of the Tony Martin records, especially the terrible Forbidden and Cross Purposes. Sabbath doesn't always have to sound like doom and gloom. This is Sabbath with soul.
I almost forgot Sabbath, ... I had some listenings in the late 70s, from Sabotage 'til Never Say Die. Then Live Aid '85. I wondered about the video of No Stranger To Love. Who is the singer, I thought. Great singer, some different to the wild heavy Ozzy stuff. And then I saw the Madman in that video for Ultimate Sin, ... light dawned on me. I 'm from the GDR and didn't have much informations about the history of this band; just the music. Yet I know it, of course.
De los primeros en comentar. Escuchando antes la versión del tema de Jeff Fenholt. Esta versión del tema la considero mejor, no así Seventh Star, Star of India es mejor
Box set this with Dep Sessions and Fused! Or are we getting some type of "Lost Years" trifecta with Born Again, Seventh Star, and both versions of Eternal Idol (RG and TM both)? Oh yeah btw don't forget 13th anniversary of 13 with ALL bonus trax like Methamphetamine and the 4-song tour CD with Season of the Dead/Cry All Night. Let me know if you need any help I'm free of charge just need room and board while in the UK and a plane ticket for me and one for my dog ;)
Awesome hit song single on the Seventh 7th Star album, loved it cause it's when Ronnie James Dio & Ian Gillan left, a 4th new era of Sabbath is Reborn, btw I think this song is about Lita Ford, & also really like your appearance in Lita Ford's Dressed To Kill video, good 80s times & thanks again Tony Master of Metal!🎸 ⃝𖤐👩🎤⃤🤟⃤𓆩🤟𓆪 ⃝𖤐𓆩✞✟𓆪🤟⃤⩜⃝🤘⃤\m/⸸⁶⁶⁶⛧🤘

This song is amazing. Seventh Star is such an underrated album.
Fantastic sound. Long live Tony and Glenn.

Seventh Star is in my opinion one of the most underrated albums of all time. These songs all still bring it to this day.
One Of My Favorite Ballade Sabbath Songs
Master piece... Tony legend...
Great album Toni Lommi a awesome guitar player
This is one of my favourite songs of Black Sabbath. I really like it's distinctive 80's vibe.
Iommi 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
linda canção do sabbath
My favorite Black Sabbath album.
Beautiful ballad, great song.
This song is fantastic.
Awesome song! Glenn Hughes + Black Sabbath = Cool Music!🔥🔥🔥!
A great album, black Sabbath a awesome group,Toni Lommi a awesome guitar player.
La mejor cancion del mundo!! desde ARGENTINA!
I love this album. Glenn sounds great
A stellar reworking of this classic from the wonderful Tony Iommi. However, Geoff Nicholls's contribution to this song was huge and so overlooked.
I love this music..
Another damn good song that never got it's due
I remember buying this in 1986 on cassette and I sting have it🌝
Glenn delivering the goods despite dueling with his demons during this time.

This album was the first vinyl I bought with my own money
Great song from a great album
Tony Iommi e Glenn Hughes was one of the most underrated partners
Masterpiece!
I fckin love this song, I die along with its melancholy and I'm passionate with Glenn Hughes's vocals. Such a great and iconic 80's ballad.
🖤🖤🖤
Ballad Killer
Always liked this tune. “Living on the streets, I’m no stranger to love”…
gracias por regalarnos está remasterización ❤️❤️
The greatest ballad Sabbath ever did!!!
My total respect goes to Sabbath's most iconic album!
this is their worst even worse than forbidden..it doesn't sound like what we love of doomy and dark sounding you get from typical sabbath records.

Great masterpiece by Mr. Iommi and Hughes. Seventh Star is brilliant and should be valued much more. 🤘🏻😁🤘🏻

Glenn Hughes on vocals. The man sings like a squirrel with its nuts in a vise! Great song and album I still listen too!
Brilliant. Can't wait for Seventh Star
I've always loved Black Sabbath
⭐Nice tune🏆
thanks for sharing
Seventh Star is a better album than Born Again. Who agrees with me?
I live 7th * but Born Again is a Heavy Metal masterpiece 😊.
I do
Born again was one of their best in my opinion. It's Hard to beat an album with a song like "Zero the Hero" it's a metal masterpiece
@@douglas2902 I don't like anything on Born Again. I dislike every single song.
