I had the thought once that if more video game companies concentrated on polishing and perfecting animated graphics - as shown here and in games like PalWorld - Games wouldn't cost so much to make, thereby bringing in enough profit to make sequels. I mean GoW Ragnarok and Horizon are all impeccably visually beautiful there's no doubt; but the cost to make them means they need extreme sales to justify making a sequel. When the graphics are less realistic but still very "cartoon-y" it must certainly cost less to make, right?? I mean look at South Park (both games) incredibly great fun to play and yet it just uses CGI versions of the cardboard cut outs from the shows.
