Amazing theme park chet.b!!! The theming was more than good, not sure how you can critique yourself on that and the coaster where awesome!!
little bit of a boring fact but at 43:25 on the ring, those cables are actually used in traveling carnivals on that exact ride. cool that they have integrated that in a permanent park!
Well, it’s not theme as in “pirate bits”, but it’s definitely beautiful and pays attention to detail. Great job. Reminds me of Marriott’s Great America before they built all those IP-attractions, rather than Disneyland, with its “lands”. Looking forward to Chet’s next park!!!

55:30 That whole coaster was 100% inspired by Maverick at Cedar Point 😂 it was an amazing coaster though! It has some different elements than Maverick does including its old heartline roll. And some very similar elements as well!

The whole park is beautiful. The theming was wonderful.
This does not seem like a first park. Did i hear that right? With all the water around this park it would seem logical to add a couple water or boat rides. Squeeze in a dark ride and I would give this a 9 out of 10 too but right now I am going 7 out of ten.

PixelWes's new park (Pixel Continents) would be a great episode 600. Been waiting for you to spotlight that one almost as long as I have this one. This is a fantastic park, one I find myself going back to myself whenever I wanna ride some killer coasters. Well done - hope you've got another in the works. While the theming isn't crazy - it's extremely realistic and reminds me very much of a high end Six Flags or Cedar Fair park!

That Yamagakashi coaster is a very good replica of Kondaa . Maybe the folks at Walibi Belgium should take a look at this and see how they need to theme their coaster, because right now that's what makes it mediocre.
This park could use a little improvements but what he did with it was astonishing. I have never seen anything like it. Some people focus on the roller coasters but that is not everything. He made a good number of roller coasters but also focused on other things, he got a good balance of the things he needs in a park and for me it is the whole package.

25:47 “portable B&M” is certainly an interesting concept. Does something like that even exist?
Something similar exist, but B&M never built any portable coasters. It is called Euro-Star, a portable inverted coaster built to travel as a fair coaster designed by intamin and Giavanola, and it does feature the classic box-spine B&M track design. It is no longer travelling, however it is now operating in Anapa Park Jungle in Russia. It was also the world's largest portable inverted coaster when it travelled around the fair circuit.

Maybe not the best park in Planet Coaster but very good I could never create something on the level he did. I saw another park called "Cedar Dominion" I thought it was the best I had ever seen. Then I came across yours and I like it the same amount or a little better than "Cedar Dominion" Awesome job on this park.
I need a simulator that can let me ride these rides!

On the RMC Phanta ride in this park...... Johnny says 4m pieces used then coverted to 12m. Does this mean create the coaster in 4m pieces, then remove 3 pieces at a time and replace those with a single 12m piece? Using autocomplete? And then do the smoothing?
I think so, yes. Although I think the more used method is to convert to 8m pieces. (because 12m pieces can actually change the track a bit)
The title for this spotlight was definitely not click bait. Incredible theming, the scenery works fantastic with the coasters. I don't know how you made the trains line up on the black loop but that was incredible. My favorite thing in this park.

The coasters aren’t the most realistic, but the rest of the park is great.
I hate these videos, They make me feel terrible when I load my pathetic parks ... but who knows maybe some day I'll build a really fantastic one and you can review it.
If he get‘s promoted to expert thanks to one spotlight why is Lucari Cellere after his Pixel Perfect Park (which was on the same level, sometimes even way more detailed, less boxy and got Park of the year in the community awards) still advanced even though between his spotlight and today were promotions. This guy is stuck in Advanced even though he proved several times now that his skill level is at least Expert.
About promoting chet to expert: I’m against it. Not because of jealousy but because everyone should go to the same process for the ranks. Normal way through discord ws review not a spotlight.
Kayara. Everyone DOES go through the same process of ranking up. However, people like Luci don't actually bother to apply for workshop reviews. I believe I remember even asking xaphor "Why is this guy at advanced!?" And pretty sure he stated "Cause he doesn't bother to apply for a workshop review"
We cannot simply manually review 5000 community member profiles, so it's up to the creator to ask for a review.
In the case that a creator DOESNT apply for a workshop review. They get a manual one from either participating in a contest, or the odd Spotlight brings them to our attention like as in today's video.
And in terms of Luci not getting a promotion in his video, I was likely not even considering his rank at that time. And his park not being "park of the year so far in 2023" Is cause it was featured in 2022 December.
@@Channel5Gaming hey, just found this comment. I think I have asked for 2 reviews after the spotlight was posted. One shortly after, however I was told that just uploading the park is not enough as I didn't update the rest of my workshop (which is totally fine. I was not aware that parks as a whole would not count). I have since then applied once again in January after updating my workshop with several pages.
I really dislike the way this is phrased as I did actually bother applying for several reviews. Please be careful saying stuff like that, it is somewhat rude.
No hard feelings, I am looking forward to the next promotions!

Strange you asked for 2 reviews, am assuming you used the regular request form correct? I've manually reviewed your workshop myself just now. And the 4 pages seem more than adequate for at least expert imo.
Parks DO count towards the review, the one issue that makes them hard too judge solely on is weither or not the ENTIRE park was actually built by the creator. We have many people who just have 1 or 2 parks on their workshop, and majority of the blueprints used are from other peoples workshops. While they did assemble the park, it's hard to see if they deserve a promotion based on 80% of the creation not being theirs. That being said, other creators spend YEARS on parks and build everything themselves. I personally put ALOT of value on that going into their promotions. Problem is, I am no longer in charge of manually doing all the promotions.
I didn't mean to be rude when phrasing it the way I was. Generally speaking, what I said is true in most situations. Many creators ignore the review form, and my memory obviously served me incorrect by thinking you were one of them. My apologies.
I suppose if you are getting denied, and I disagree with the declined promotions on your behalf. I will have a talk with the mod squad about the promotion situation. Cause to my previous statement, the outliers should only be those who are not applying. And not because they are unfairly rejected. I do understand the mods are trying to be fair and don't want to just give out promotions for asking. But in your case, PixelPerfect theme park was masterful, AND you have 4 pages of great blueprints. So this doesn't sit right with me.

@@Channel5Gaming it wasn’t meant in a bad way. It just feels a bit weird when you hear in a spotlight someone will get a promo by you aka Jonny while at the same time someone with the same skill level who also applied twice for s ws review within a half year and got a „no“ both times is still in the same rank.
but I didn’t want to open a discussion. That was just the first thought that came to my mind while watching this park. As lucky said: no hard feelings

While I built 90% of it myself that makes a lot of sense. I didn't disagree with the decision and instead filled my workshop!
