    Really nice .. simple to do but need all this type of punching machines and glitters otherwise it won’t be this perfect .. 👏👏

    I must say that the emerald envy is my favourite but they are both beautiful boxes and such a wonderful way of holding the box closed without using ribbon.

    Really like the closure on this box. Great idea! Thank you for the video tutorial.One idea for making lining up the punched out piece for the slider track: Since you haven't glued the inside box into place yet, flip it upside down so it is bottom side up. That way you can use the base of the box to hold the flap in place when you're trying to attach the punched out piece to it. Seems like the trouble you were having was because every time you tried to attach the piece to the flap it would push down into the open box. Hopefully that will work for you and anyone else that might give this box a try. Thanks again for sharing!

    What a lovely idea! The gold embossing on black is gorgeous! Maybe it would be easier to stick the punch guide down if you held the box in upside down to give a solid surface for placing the guide.

    • @CraftyCaroline

      I love the magic of heat embossing and gold on black seems especially stunning. Yup, thought of turing the box over a few seconds too late! That would work really well x x

    I love the emerald envy one the most. absolutely love this box! I so need to make one. I didn't think much to the morrocon nights stamp set but after seeing this it will be making it onto my next order. thanks for sharing. will you be taking a break from crafting once bump arrives hun? xx

    • @CraftyCaroline
      @CraftyCaroline  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Jodie, I really tried to resist this set but couldn't in the end. I am not disappointed! I will be taking a break but I've been working away on projects so have a few in the bag so hopefully my videos will continue over the summer, even if I am not crafting :)

    • @jodiefletcher5220
      @jodiefletcher5220 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well this project makes the stamp set stunning and is awesomely different too. I might have to make some up to store cat treats in so they can each have their own one. Can't wait to get this set later this month. Glad to know there will still be something from you even if you are not physically crafting at the time. Hope bump isn't too late xx

    Lovely update would a normal hair dryer work with the embossing powder ?

    • @CraftyCaroline
      @CraftyCaroline  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think a hair dryer would give enough concentrated heat, it would probably just blow the powder off. I have heard that sitting the card on top of a toaster works but haven't tried it myself.

    You don't even need to line it up with the slot like that - really, you should be able to just line up the punch with the fold/scored edge just like the first side. 😊

    • @CraftyCaroline
      @CraftyCaroline  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Amanda - I did try that on my prototype but it didn't line up perfectly :(
