What's up brother! You are so right! It should be about having fun & smelling great! Imitation is actually a form of flattery. The houses that Dua does "inspired expressions" of are either very expensive, discontinued, very limited exclusives, etc.. Mahsam buys the originals to make quality & affordable alternatives available to the "average Joe" The people like you & I who either can't afford the originals, don't have access to some of the O.G.'s, or would just rather be able to buy 3 or 4 fragrances for the money it would cost to buy one of the original creations. What someone wants to wear shouldn't cause someone else to look down on them, or question their integrity. Dua does put out some really high quality juice, and 95% of the time it lasts longer and performs better! Thanks for your comment my brother! Right now my favorites are 22 Shades, Spiritus Dei, Aphrodisiac, Euphoric, 28 Shades of Tabacum, Liquid Mind Control, Iconic and Room 540. I've got some samples of Valor, Black Widow and 44 Shades of Vanilla on the way. Thanks for the video. Never thought I'd like clones but some of these are different from the original in a better way. Great video. My current favorite is either Supernova or Invasion of the Barbers. I’ve only smelled one on this top ten list. And out of the 20-25 samples I’ve smelled forbidden no. 4 was the only one I didn’t like. Probably would not have liked the original either.
I love Supernova and Invasion as well. This was a hard list to put together! I don't like every single fragrance that Dua has been inspired by either, but as I've said before...fragrance is very subjective! It would be really boring if we all liked the same stuff! 😉
I have found DUA to be spot on in many cases very often moreso than Alexandria although both are great houses. Often you get what you pay for and though DUA is pricey their scents are top notch....atomizers by far DUAs weak point. I typically decant all my DUAs both for a refresher and better spray quality.

At first it’s tough to wear cause it’s Oud but once you get to the mid and dry down that’s where it really starts to shine. I picked up Aphrodisiac as well based on your recommendation, hope that one is a banger as well.
I respect other's lists Cam. I wear everything for myself too. Once in a while I reach for my wife's suggestion 😄. Trust me. When you also like masculine, powerhouses in the vein of Mr Smelly, Max Forte and Joy, the approval ratings drop🤣🤣🤣

What's up Mark! Check with Mike @ www.smellsandsuds.com for samples. Tell him that I sent you! The 10 most masculine and beast mode frags I would pick would be.. Tux, Cuir de Africano, 11Z, SCRUMPTIOUS, Hades Elixir, Omen, Euphoric, The conqueror, Spiritus dei Black Phantom. Those are some of my faves that fit that bill. There are plenty of unisex ones as well, like the Queen of Spades, Love Dungeon, and Fortune that are amazing as well
@@CFR_TH-cam howdy Sir and I hope you will get to see this. I looked through your list and would like to narrow it down just little. I noticed many of your recommendations are gourmands. I don't like anything Sweet in my fragrances, a mild underlying sweetness can be OK sometimes, but on the whole, no. My olfactory families are chypre and fougere. It's important that the fragrance has a spiciness to it (and I don't mean cinnamon. That's sweet, I don't get why they call it spicy. A sharp, peppery spiciness is what I mean). Also musk (black, dark musk, the sexy one, not the washing detergent one). Green and herbaceous. Masculine, old school. Eg I have chypre supreme from DUA. Its good, real good. Green, rich, full. Lasts 10-12h+. If it had some spiciness as well it would be perfect. What I DON'T like in my fragrances, for me personally, is softness, sweetness. I want sharp, biting, masculine, musky. Aggressive. Stellar performance. I think the Conquerer sounds along the right lines? Perhaps Barbers? You know the Drydown of Dior oud ispahan? That's what I call musky. Or Aoud Musk? If DUA did a stronger version I'd buy it unseen. I guess m7 and tux also might be promising. Ítalían decor? (Italian cypress?) I appreciate your feedback. Thanks a bunch, Mark from Iceland

How many sprays you hitting yourself with? Also do you get like a slight wood/musk vibe on the dry down of the 22 shades of Bergamot? It's a wonderful fragrance though
Thanks for the comment Beesxax! Depending on which fragrance it is, it could be anywhere from 2-5. 22 Shades does have that slight woody dry down that's really nice! It's EXTREMELY close to the OG (IMHO) I usually hit 22 about 3 sprays and I'm golden. On something like Imperiale, the performance is pretty much on par with Creed, so you can spray liberally with that one. Something like The Conqueror is a 2 spray fragrance, and get 10 hrs out of it. The gourmands are also rather intense...2-3 sprays max is all you'll need on any of those!😁

@@greg7469 never smelled the reaf TF FF but this dua has decent longevity. the creed one was impireal pastiqe by dua. lasted about 22 seconds. and for Duas price on 30ml i rather buy a milestone armaf for $50

Hi Henry!! I'm not super familiar with certain aroma chemicals, so I couldn't say with certainty what note or chemical is different on Black Widow, but once it dries down I honestly can't tell the difference. I'm a HUGE Kilian fan & Black Phantom is one of my all time favorites. As far as Dua Fragrances goes, this is one of the best TRUE clones they have. Fortune, Hades Elixir, Casino Royale Nights, and Tux are so darn close I literally can't tell the difference from the OG's. They have MANY other fantastic inspired expressions that are close enough & in a few cases even better, but if you're looking true clones to the original creations, those are the best in my opinion. The openings are even the same on a couple of them....just not Black Widow. Hope this helps 🙏

Just received BW and its very solid. Strong AF. Lol. Really like the scent and glad I purchased the Dua. Cant justify the purchase of the original since I can't see myself wearing this often because its sweet, boozy and loud. Just curious have you tried Dua's inspiration of Grand Soir called Crater. Supernova is fantastic! This was one hella hard list to put together, and if I were to make another one, it would be completely different! The main reason I didn't include Supernova in this list is cause I was out of it & I wanted to include some new releases. BOLO for some of those most recent releases to be reviewed in the next couple of weeks!
My first dua was Bois Oudh. Big mistake, it stinks. I no longer want to purchase from them. Only 30 mills for 50 -60 bucks. I think I'll pass on the house and save up for the OG or try the Parfum Vintage offerings.
I always suggest to get the O.G.'s if you can afford them. Obviously NO perfume house or house that makes dupes of houses is for everyone. I hate you had a bad experience with Bois Oudh...I haven't tried that one. There are many inspired expressions that Dua has done that I think are absolutely stellar, but there are also ones that I don't care for. The ones I didn't like have been ones that I haven't smelled the OG to compare to. PV has some good clones, but the very first time I bought a clone from them was a bad experience as well. It was actually a bad batch of Pineapple Intense. It actually smelled really funky, but I have since smelled a couple that I really liked, and a couple that didn't really ring my bell either. The main thing is to wear what you want, when you want, and have fun! That's the name of the game (at least it should be) Thanks for your comment!! I hope you have a GREAT weekend!! ✌

Black Phantom. Those are some of my faves that fit that bill. There are plenty of unisex ones as well, like the Queen of Spades, Love Dungeon, and Fortune that are amazing as well

I looked through your list and would like to narrow it down just little.
I noticed many of your recommendations are gourmands.
I don't like anything Sweet in my fragrances, a mild underlying sweetness can be OK sometimes, but on the whole, no.
My olfactory families are chypre and fougere. It's important that the fragrance has a spiciness to it (and I don't mean cinnamon. That's sweet, I don't get why they call it spicy. A sharp, peppery spiciness is what I mean).
Also musk (black, dark musk, the sexy one, not the washing detergent one).
Green and herbaceous. Masculine, old school.
Eg I have chypre supreme from DUA. Its good, real good. Green, rich, full. Lasts 10-12h+.
If it had some spiciness as well it would be perfect.
What I DON'T like in my fragrances, for me personally, is softness, sweetness.
I want sharp, biting, masculine, musky. Aggressive. Stellar performance.
I think the Conquerer sounds along the right lines?
Perhaps Barbers?
You know the Drydown of Dior oud ispahan? That's what I call musky. Or Aoud Musk? If DUA did a stronger version I'd buy it unseen.
I guess m7 and tux also might be promising. Ítalían decor? (Italian cypress?)

How many sprays you hitting yourself with? Also do you get like a slight wood/musk vibe on the dry down of the 22 shades of Bergamot? It's a wonderful fragrance though

Depending on which fragrance it is, it could be anywhere from 2-5.
22 Shades does have that slight woody dry down that's really nice! It's EXTREMELY close to the OG (IMHO) I usually hit 22 about 3 sprays and I'm golden.
On something like Imperiale, the performance is pretty much on par with Creed, so you can spray liberally with that one.
Something like The Conqueror is a 2 spray fragrance, and get 10 hrs out of it. The gourmands are also rather intense...2-3 sprays max is all you'll need on any of those!😁
I'm enjoying that Matrix, I keep this in the chamber for the summer.

Hi Henry!! I'm not super familiar with certain aroma chemicals, so I couldn't say with certainty what note or chemical is different on Black Widow, but once it dries down I honestly can't tell the difference.
I'm a HUGE Kilian fan & Black Phantom is one of my all time favorites.
As far as Dua Fragrances goes, this is one of the best TRUE clones they have.
Fortune, Hades Elixir, Casino Royale Nights, and Tux are so darn close I literally can't tell the difference from the OG's.
They have MANY other fantastic inspired expressions that are close enough & in a few cases even better, but if you're looking true clones to the original creations, those are the best in my opinion.
The openings are even the same on a couple of them....just not Black Widow.

Supernova is fantastic!
This was one hella hard list to put together, and if I were to make another one, it would be completely different! The main reason I didn't include Supernova in this list is cause I was out of it & I wanted to include some new releases.
BOLO for some of those most recent releases to be reviewed in the next couple of weeks!
My first dua was Bois Oudh. Big mistake, it stinks. I no longer want to purchase from them. Only 30 mills for 50 -60 bucks. I think I'll pass on the house and save up for the OG or try the Parfum Vintage offerings.
I always suggest to get the O.G.'s if you can afford them. Obviously NO perfume house or house that makes dupes of houses is for everyone. I hate you had a bad experience with Bois Oudh...I haven't tried that one. There are many inspired expressions that Dua has done that I think are absolutely stellar, but there are also ones that I don't care for. The ones I didn't like have been ones that I haven't smelled the OG to compare to.
PV has some good clones, but the very first time I bought a clone from them was a bad experience as well. It was actually a bad batch of Pineapple Intense. It actually smelled really funky, but I have since smelled a couple that I really liked, and a couple that didn't really ring my bell either. The main thing is to wear what you want, when you want, and have fun! That's the name of the game (at least it should be)
