Great intro Brian. Perhaps worth mentioning that when connecting this app the first time, make sure it is not configured to push parameters to the mount as these will not initially be set to match the mount.

Thanks Brian! This is an overdue, concise but very informative and helpful user info about Gemini Telescope.net. Not a user yet but I follow the Gemini-II group, have the app on my computer and I have been confused by why it is sometimes called "Driver" and whether "Gemini" is an adjective or part the software file name separated by a space and whether I really need it.
This clears it up and more. I am in the process of learning to automate imaging and picking out my software programs. They have really procreated and evolved in the last few years and we are in a feast mode! Moslty I hear about problems it seems, more caused by user ignorance and wild expectations than software bugs. Who has the time? I really like good user manuals!

Thanks Brian, very useful video. I just received my GM811 last Monday and I’m getting it set up. I’ve got a bit of a learning curve in front of me as I learn how Gemini works, as well as dealing with being a Windows novice (I’m a Mac user). Your video, along with the earlier ones, are a lot of help and I really appreciate your efforts to make this information available. Thanks!
