Hi! Thanks for your video! I’m an artist and I’m kinda new to the craft world. I love this idea and I’m trying to understand when/how to use this idea for an an SVG. I know that you can use printed vinyl to cut from an SVG file but would you need an SVG file for sublimation? With sublimation can you use any png design printed on a sublimation printer? I would love to make products for sale like you do or even just design SVGs.
Hi Diane, I think you got it! For a vinyl project you would use an svg and use printable vinyl. For sublimation you can use any type of png image but the product you apply it to is the trickier part. There are certain cups, shirts etc that you use specifically to sub on! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
@@amjtutorials4018 so if you didn't want to convert an svg, but draw your own art work and save it as a PNG, it could then be sublimated? Is it that simple?
Hi Leaha, Yes! You can draw and save art as a png and use as sublimation! Do you have an iPad? If so I have an app that you can create digitally that would save tons of time!
thanks for the video!! my image turns white though when i do this. the pattern goes to the svg but it completely changes the color to white. how do i keep the original color when doing a pattern
Hi Crystal, this answer is so delayed so I apologize and hope you figured it out! But are you working with an svg (the item you want the print to attach to) and a png (the print pattern)? And before clipping is the print pattern on the bottom? If you are still having trouble and need help please send me some pictures to amjtutorials@gmail.com and I will try to understand better! Thank you!
