The true Sabbath that God initially commanded still stands.
God does not change.
The 7th day of the week is the only day that God has declared is holy.
Jesus was observing it, and so were all the apostles.
It begins Friday at sunset and ends Saturday Sunset.
You all can make excuses for Sunday worship but the 1st day of the week was for the pagans.
It all comes from Catholicism from 325AD.
The days of the week we are following in the west is actually Babylonian and Constantine adopted it. Most people outside of America, Canada and a few other countries do not count Sunday as the FIRST Day of the week. And we dont really either if you think about it. So what day is really the right day. Nobody knows for sure.
Are ya sure Jesus was observing it? No. If you read the dead sea scrolls, going by the jewish priest exiles aka Essenes/Nazarites .. they were observing Sunday.

The Romans were the ones killing the true Christians who remained faithful to God's commandments.
History has been twisted to reflect that Catholicism was the apostolic church that continued on but this is false.
This was a completely separate entity who took on the name and proclaimed to be the true church.
God's church observes the sabbath and the holy days as outlined in Leviticus 23.
Jesus kept them, and so did the apostles long after his death and resurrection.
Catholicism started with Simon the Sorceror which then eventually turned into an official state relgion in 325AD which is the Christianity you practise today.
There was no pagan festivals such as Easter or Chrsitmas, or Sunday worship.
These are the inventions of man and history proves this.
You can make excuses all you want to give credibility to a Sunday worship however the Catholics even state in their own encyclopaedia that they had no scriptural authority to change the sabbath to the 1st day of the week.
Any so called saint or martyr from the Catholic religion who gives their opinion is meaningless as it is not from God.
God's word has the final say.
Even the modern day religious jews question the christians that if they are faithful to jesus and claim to love him so much, then why don't they observe the torah just like he and the apostles did?

Few people have grasped that the sabbath is not a day,

So why Jesus obeyed the Sabbath day on Saturdays? If he come to set an example for us one can only assume that he wanted us to do likewise. Why is it on the 10 commandments? Why is it mentioned 172 times as for us to obey it?
Jesus did not obey the saturday. After his resurrection it was all over. Only the jews kept the saturday.

Jesus set an example on religious worship which are the ten commandments.
Long after his death the apostles were still observing the sabbath and holy days.
The apostle Paul commanded us to keep the Passover.

The churches are not even faithful to the most basic instructions such as not calling any man on earth father as a religious title.

Jesus came to fullfil the law not to take away from it and not to abolish it but to make it perfict. That includs mercy for hungry ,wonded and vonerable people he is our example on how to live he never changed the 7th day to the 1st day of the week that was a Pope who changed it , the seventh day is a holy day. I'm also search for the true Sabbath. Is it the 7th. day of the week? Paul calls us out when we look for days to worship. Jesus states He is Lord of the Sabbath. King over the Sabbath, He says if you want rest come to Him. God says rest on/in the Sabbath. In Jesus we no longer work for the work of God is to believe on Jesus His only begotten son. Our work ends in Jesus therefore Jesus says you are free indeed. Able to do all things through Jesus our Lord but this does not mean we sin to our lust because this is defiling the holy temple which is the body

@@shellbells339 I really appreciate those that make a living with their mouth. It remind me when my son came home from the Marine Corps and we where at the pull-up bars. When I was in I could do 20 so without thinking when he asked me how many I could do I said 20. I barely did 3. Life takes on a different perspective when the rubber meets the road. Real life is all about showing your love to God and to your brother/sister. If Jesus sets you free you are free indeed. I wonder how I would feel if everyone in heaven is perfect. Amen. Jesus is the sabbath the rest. He said He is the Lord of the Sabbath. Adam was created to find rest in God throughout his life on earth a place of trouble. Sabbath is not a single day but part of our life as we live on earth. Jesus died on the cross for this as well. The Isrealites needed a day as God required them to transform from the idolatory pratices of Egypt with a penalty of death if violated. Jesus died to establish the sabbath for mankind. Amen.

By the way, people are rejecting God by not keeping the sanctified sabbath but want to take pleasure in man made laws. If we are not to keep God's sabbath, why are you people encouraging the congregation to take on Sunday as the day of the Lord? What is the logic behind making people reject God's law? The Lord Jesus said whoever teaches another to defy the law will be called little in the kingdom of God. And he continued saying that everything will come to an end but not even a punctuation mark of the law will come to an end not until everything has been fulfilled.
Christ fulfilled the Law on the Cross, when he said it's finished.

You were commanded to rest in the Sabbath.
You are now commanded to rest in Christ.
The Sabbath forced you into Communion with God.

The wages of sin was death, and Christ died that death for our sins, making the way clear for us to be saved. Now after believing that He died for our sins, was buried and has risen, Ephesians 1:13 assures us that we were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Meaning we never have to worry about our salvation again.
You have tried all the gimmicks. You've jumped through all the hoops. You've gotten fairly good at doing spiritual gymnastics, but have you ever just tried resting? Resting in Christ and His finished work?

The word "gospel" means GOOD NEWS. And the good news of how God was "in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;" has been overshadowed by the "Gospel Buffet" for far too long!

The Sabbath was hallowed at the creation. As ordained for man, it had its origin when "the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy." Job 38:7. Because He had rested upon the Sabbath, "God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it,"--set it apart to a holy use. He gave it to Adam as a day of rest. It was a memorial of the work of creation, and thus a sign of God's power and His love. The Scripture says, "He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered." "The things that are made," declare "the invisible things of Him since the creation of the world," "even His everlasting power and divinity." Gen. 2:3; Ps. 111:4; Rom. 1:20, R. V.
All things were created by the Son of God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. . . . All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made." John 1:1-3. And since the Sabbath is a memorial of the work of creation, it is a token of the love and power of Christ.
The Sabbath calls our thoughts to nature, and brings us into communion with the Creator. In the song of the bird, the sighing of the trees, and the music of the sea, we still may hear His voice who talked with Adam in Eden in the cool of the day. And as we behold His power in nature we find comfort, for the word that created all things is that which speaks life to the soul. The Sabbath was embodied in the law given from Sinai; but it was not then first made known as a day of rest. The people of Israel had a knowledge of it before they came to Sinai.
