I just got mine for $16 and free shipping from Walmart. I can't wait to watch it in Dolby Atmos on my 75" home theater. I also have the 3D Blu-ray, but it's not Atmos.
I recently bought the 3D version of Gravity, and when I heard about the ATMOS Blu-ray version, I hopefully ordered it from Amazon. Won't know if the Blu-ray I ordered is in Atmos, until I get it. On the website, it doesn't say it has it.
Only reason I don't own it. I do wonder why in the world did they only update the blu-ray and not release a 4k disc with ATMOS on it? Weird. I believe a 3D version with ATMOS is too much info to fit on the biggest blu-ray disc. It might fit on a 4k disc.
I bought the Diamond Luxe version when it first came out the re-release isn't as nice as that - I'll hold on to that version, still waiitng on that 4K.

I know I have to suspend belief because it’s just a movie, but the odds she overcomes is just too unbelievable. ***Spoiler Alert*** I would have enjoyed it if while she was hurtling back to Earth they did some super-fast (almost subliminal) flashes of her daughter beckoning to her, as if she was actually dying and being reunited with her kid in the afterlife.
The elephant in the room is that the latest release is horrible to watch . The digital noise is unbareable and total lack of HDR puts this piece of art into complete trash. Why all that hype about the sound if the TODAY's copy is unwatchable? "...can't beat the view" deserves the best exposure available today... instead we got a piece of trash ... AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT!!! What was supposed to be a collector's item turned out into piece of garbage. BTW... DTS is also missing in action. Is everybody here blind and dumb not to notice the OBVIOUS???
I literally just finished watching my copy which I got this week. May be “just” a Blu-ray but looked beautiful on my 75” Sony.
the atmos version of gravity is easily one of, if not the most, creative displays of Atmos engineering.

Gravity is an amazing film. I've seen it 3 times at the IMAX. I call it Jaws in space 😂 with the debris being the shark

Dune is available in 3D, but not Dune2, unless you're in Japan.

Hey, loved the review, I saw this at the movie, that I bought the 3D with a blue ray disc. The sound is dts-HD, but picture is Dolby.
