- In this video Aiman will show you how to play back recorded clips either to watch live on the monitor or to save or back them up on a USB drive. The process is actually quite simple. Keep in mind, depending on the size of your hard drive and the number of cameras that you have, the system might store only about 30 days worth of video clips. When we bought this 8-channel NVR video security camera system, it was meant for deterrent and so that Aiman's mom can watch the surrounding from the comfort and safety of their dining room. But about 2 months ago, there was a car jacking that took place in another town, but for whatever reason, the car was left in front of our neighbor's house exactly in the perfect view of 3 of our cameras which were facing the front yard. When our local police officer arrived, he saw the cameras mounted in front of our house and knocked on the door to see if we could show him the clips. None of us have actually gone back to replay any of the recorded video clips and the manual for the system was nowhere to be found. Luckily Aiman was home because he was sick and he was able to quickly figure out how to play back the video clips to show the evidence of the alleged crime & the perpetrators involved. The officer also recorded the playback on the screen using his smart cellphone. We we glad that our camera security system was useful in helping local law enforcement solve the crime and possibly catch the criminals.
One thing to keep in mind, is that the video was stored in a H.265 format instead of the normal .mov or .mp4 format, so in order to view it on your PC or laptop, you might have to download a proper video decoder or use a video converter.
Background / brief history behind our Hiseeu NVR Security System:
We've been living in our neighborhood for almost 30 years and so far there hasn't been any real issues with crimes or break-ins. But recently there have been several home break-ins not to far from our neighborhood. Most of the houses in our neighborhood do not have fences and it has been fairly safe and quiet, especially since the police department was relocated from downtown to within half a mile from our house.
We wanted a video surveillance system but we didn't want a wired system. We also didn't want to have to pay ongoing fees. We wanted a system that have the following features:
1) Wireless or at least Wi-Fi.
2) We wanted the video to be recorded and stored locally on a hard drive.
3) Ability to be connected to the internet and stored on the cloud but without monthly storage or access fee.
4) Cameras must have audio capabilities.
5) Cameras must have night vision, motion sensor detection, alarm email alert.
6) Cameras with HD Video of 1080p (1920x1080) and a wide angle
7) 24/7 continuous recording or an NVR (Network Video Recorder).
8) The cameras to be waterproof, rain & wind proof and withstand cold temperature during the winter.
9) A minimum of 8 channel, expandable if possible.
10) A true plug & play system which is easy to use.
11) A system which is backed by a solid product warranty and customer support.
Before purchasing Hiseeu system, we also researched other comparable products and brands such as SimpliCam, Lorex, Ring, Wyze Cam, Arlo, Nest, Blink, Swan, Eufy, Zmodo, Ecobe, PoE systems and more. But Hiseeu systems are the most affordable and the best bang for the bucks.

Oklahoma here, I didn't mind reading your story because it is very similar to mines lol. Now I have not watched your video yet and if I have to watch it over and over again trust me I will. I tried using the manual it just did not work for me, it is as if the manual was that extra book that disappeared when I needed it the most. Thank you for making this video your Mom should be really proud of you.
Another way is to note the section you want backed up. Go to your computer on the same network and bring up the cameras .Goto recording /search for the time frame you want and then download .on a good network its is faster and can be put on a disk if need be.Also makes it easier to send to an other person through the internet.
For anyone that is needing answers on the company Hiseeu, they are just another company that has wholesaled a Chinese made NVR system that is just like OOSSXX that has done the same thing. All these systems run the same OS, those companies just buy these at really low costs to make a buck. Just thought I'd share this info, take care! :)

Thank you for your videos. Very informative. Do you know how to fix the hard drive formatting? When I tried the video playback, there’s a message “hard disc hasn’t been formatted”. I tried to format it in HDD setup, but the progress bar only have 1% and then a message “Warning format failed”.

Thank you for a very informative video. As a security camera user I had many frustrations with other brands trying to view recorded video; sometimes you have to download a viewing application to your computer in order to manipulate and view recorded video, and many times the interface is not user friendly nor the video shows well. My question for you is does this system allow you to use your computer for monitoring and controlling live footage or just your cell phone app. That is the only thing keeping me from buying this brand.

Overall a very nice video and I do not mean to be rude but when making a "How to" video it is best to keep the personal stories to a minimum and stay on task. Many people will not stay with the video if it is too long and personal.

Have you tried to factory reset and re-pair the camera that isn't working? There is a button on the camera cord that you can press and hold to factory reset.

The way the NVR works, at least from my experience, is that it has rolling storage. Let's say 1TB corresponds to 30 days of storage. When you hit the maximum length of time, in order to record more data, the NVR deletes the earliest data stored. If you start out at Day 1, and then go to Day 30, all the data will be recorded. But as soon as you start Day 31, the data from Day 1 will be deleted in order to record Day 31 data.

Save your money. Purchased this system for my mountain cabin, but software is terrible. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Camera system is only as good as the software that runs it.
Eseecloud is so sporadic, together is a waste of money. Have a Lorex for my home, will be re-installing Lorex. Haven't had any problems with the Lorex software. Sorry Hiseeu, cameras are good, but need new software to run the system.
