That Poh piah really brings back memories of my hometown in Seremban. All of the food featured in the video are old school hawker fare. Hope they can keep the legacy going with the next Gen and not disappear like most in KL and SG.
Just came out from work and watched this one. it made me relax and hungry both at the same time. 😅 i hope to visit this one soon, looks really delicious and affordable. Thank you for the food trip tour, Zermatt. ☺️
Zermatt, next time you're in my hometown of penang, i recommend trying out the late night hawker centres as a change of vibes. Green House Prawn Mee Corner, Red Garden Food Paradise
5:00 that one is Kuih Seri Muka. Most famous sweetmeats throughout Malaysia The pasembuh is similar to rojak. It's is and should be serve cold. The "dough" is actually bits of cucur udang.
love watching Zermatt eating like this (a variety of different food and give reviews on the food ) when he visits a place rather than doing a challenge. Hope his fans care for his health too. 😅
@@ZermattNeo by the way am from Penang, there are few places you may try, Chowrasta Market, Tanjung Bungah/Tokong Market, Genting Kopitiam, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam there also got lots of kopitiams 😋
Zermatt, u should try Hani food stall at clementi west st 2. Their nasi lemak, mee siam are good. Simple but tasty. It's always long q in the morning. They are normally sold out before noon.
Kari mee is Malaysia's favourite. What Zermatt had was Penang White Curry. It's light cream colour before you mix the chillies into the curry and it turn into your typical red curry mee. KL and Ipoh have their best curry mee. Not Penang. The noodle are usually yellow noodle without egg as opposed to what Zermatt usually mistakingly calling yellow noodle as egg noodle.
Next time u should go for Aki Pancake since you like the "ban zhang koew" so much. They have a lot of variety type of "ban zhang koew" over there at the hawker centre name Super Tanker.
The roast pork 1st stall(Boon Hean Cai) actually did not open/operate yet looking at your video, that one is the crispier one among all of the 4 stall. my own preferences btw 👍
If i ever own a food stall i think i’m gonna run away whenever i see zermatt 😂 he will taste the food & give the genuine comments like directly in front of your face 😂
Is this just a breakfast market? I tried Goggle Man Char Kway Teow. That was really really memorable. Will be there for a few hours in the evening in Dec this year. Any recs for dinner along any food streets?

As a Penangite, i can tell you that the barefoot char koay teow, hokkien mee and jawa mee at Cecil Market is below standard. The char koay teow that is good at Cecil Street market is the Tattoo Guy CKT, but he rarely opens his shop 😅
Yes I love it how Zermatt has a soft spot for senior folks. He always want to support them! Kudos!!❤

Respect zermatt for supporting shop that doesn't sell much😊
