I'm sure you have figured this out by now, but you loosen the thin edge side of the "tapered" Gibb and tighten the thick side to increase the wedge effect until play is gone, then gently tighten the thin side screw to keep the Gibb from sliding out of adjustment but no more or you can bow it. Never tighten the thick side against the thin side while it is tight against the Gibb in an effort to "adjust" it.
