@@ScottS-56 I understand what you mean, Rush were the undisputed masters. With the comparison I made, I meant to say that Dram Theater, unlike many other progressive groups, were able to mix melody and technique. In some songs (like this one posted by Luca eFFe) they managed to make me "travel" like Rush. Other examples: Space-Dye Vest, Voices, Metropolis - Part I: "The Miracle and the Sleeper"
I had the great luck to attend the Rome venue of the Awake tour in 1995…….unforgettable!

James is sounding good and the band is looking better than they have in years!
James! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Sounded better each show! LFG
James did a good job! I'm sure song is not easy!
I wish they’d make a few songs like awake again
It is almost impossibile to reach again the peak of perfection of Awake (inmho best prog metal album ever)
@ it feels different than the rest to me, maybe slightly heavier is why.
6:20 *Why God, Why????*
C'ero!
Un gruppo degno dell'eredità dei mitici Rush, logicamente in chiave un po' più moderna 😊
I love Dream Theater, but I wouldn't compare them to Rush....
