No music compares in originality and consciousness raising vibes than that created by Flora and Airto. Have cried tears of joy over her voice for fifty years. Thank you so much.

We opened for her show in Chapel Hill NC in 82 with a band called Minas that still performing today. The 80’s was an amazing time. Cheers to Flora and Airto band.
She is out of this world. Way underrated, deserved more commercial success. One of the best female artists ever.

Larry Nass's amazing guitar solo in Light as a feather, 11:37-14:45 wich turns onto samba is a pure Delight.
The percussion summit in Tombo in 7/4.. How did they got all of them playin a bunch of percussion instrument (22:55 - ) the way it's in Rio's Samba School, it's ain't easy but they got it. Simply amazing!

Wonderful! Airto is brilliant, even on whistle! Great musicians and of course Flora is stellar!
While hitch-hiking across country in September 1972, I saw them at the Landmark in Kansas City, Missouri when Fingers was just released. Talked to Airto a bit and he found it interesting that I was living on the road with just a small backpack. Being also a guitarist, I tried talking with David Amaro but he didn't speak English and I didn't speak Spanish . . . LOL. All together a great experience. The band line-up was Airto, Flora, David Amaro (guitar), Rlngo Thielmann (bass), Jorge Fattoruso (drums), Raut De Souza (trombone, conga and percussion).

Talvez se ela não tivesse talento, rebolasse com a bunda de fora e cantasse lixo, seria conhecida e reconhecida no Brasil. Flora é mundialmente consagrada como uma das maiores jazzistas de todos os tempos, e o público dela tem bom nível cultural. Enfim, azar de quem não a conhece.
