우리나라 강원도 오대산, 설악산, 황병산 등 한반도 중부 이북에 자란다.
극지 부근, 한대 및 아한대 지역에 분포한다.
꽃은 차로 만들어 마시며, 뿌리줄기는 약용한다.
높은 산의 양지에서 자라는 여러해살이풀이다.(한반도의생물다양성)
It grows north of the central part of the Korean Peninsula, including Mt. Odaesan, Mt. Seorak, and Mt. Hwangbyeong in Gangwon-do.
Distributed near the poles, in polar and subarctic regions.
The flowers are made into tea and the rhizome is used medicinally.
It is a perennial herb that grows in sunny areas on high mountains.
