For only 2 years of sewing experience, you have a wealth of knowledge! I really appreciate how you explain concepts - so user friendly and informative. You are a natural teacher. Wonderful tips! You have a new sub!
Some great tips Mary Ellen! I’m planning on making the Sew Me Something Reagan sweatshirt with double gauze, but using ribbing for neckband and cuffs. ❤️
Wonderful video. The way you thought of double gauze is the way I thought of seersucker... Always thought it was for children clothing. I learned just how much double gauze shrink the hard way. Thanks for the advice.

Hi Mary Ellen, I love double gauze and have made pyjamas, a Closet Core Caftan and a Megan Nielsen Olive dress in dg. I have just cut out a TATB Stevie in it too. I don’t iron mine as I like the crinkled look. It is so comfortable to wear! Thanks for all the advice.

I used to be a teacher, so it's so reassuring to know I've retained some skills 🤣
Lovely to hear you not sounding so short of breath, made me happy. Loved the not gospel caveat ❤️

It sounds as if you don't need the advice 🥰 the olive dress sounds wonderful and I'm definitely moving pyjamas up the list ☺️
you wouldnt use d gauze in quilting, 100% cotton only, or t shirts, or wool
I've used double gauze to make a light baby blanket. It worked well.
I prewash everything.
This is the part of my day I always enjoy. Do not waste your time = P r o m o S M!!
