This was a nice episode that's different from the normal ones that you guys have put out. In a way, it's my first time seeing TH-camrs showing appreciation to their clients and viewers in a special episode. The part where the owners/operators sending messages of gratitude and telling how it has positively influenced their businesses is a nice touch too where the videos is not only for the viewers' entertainment but it has given a positive impact to the F&B operators featured. With how cutthroat food businesses are, any help can go a long way and sometimes, some hidden gems just need that one shoutout and push to be a success story. One thing that is very upsetting for every host in any shows is that most of the time the audience only take in the criticism the host said but not the advice for improvement. At the end of the day, taste is very subjective and the hosts shouldn't be bashed for not liking the same thing as you. Congrats on 1st year anniversary!

good episode. it's good to have an episode like this to do a review and reflect on where to improve - like an AGM hahaha looking forward to better food content, but don't change too much of the other things in this segment. best to have Ben to be the constant host with various rotation other guests or hosts. it's hard to find good host combination like the one for the Vietnam travel (i think it's Ben, Clarissa and Chin Wai), the trio is great!, just saying.... I brought my wife to OUD, we enjoyed the one of each but unfortunately when we went down, they change the scallop to tuna. Sadly my wife didnt really like the steak, however her taste profile is towards spicy and chinese based food. But the one of each really hit the spot!

Tired GAHE here is my review on google map Order ginseng half chicken soup set for $9.90. Told that the weight time was 40min got it in 25min. Maybe they have to brew the soup longer... Summary Soup : poor Rice : poor Chicken : average Sides : great TL'DR Okay if i can eat this again i will not eat side independently. I will down one piece chicken and one piece sides. Soup I had was diluted, definitely no msg and any profile. Not sweet of savory just a bit of chicken and my tongue need to focus before it can sense it. Just lack favour profile. Did they make on order or they ran out of ginseng? I barely catch any sweetness even with the red dates. Definitely need longer brewing time. Rice was inconsistent top was hard, below was soft or it could just be the soup i added but i feel it is not the cause. Definitely below average. Chicken while large is pretty average. Toughness is expected even though they easily come off the bone. But because of the bland soup it doesn't have much flavor. Lack of soya sauce hurts as well. Side though was great. Cucumber, soya curb skin and kimchi. Each with it's own unique flavor profile. So if you want better down the chicken with this.

Did they make on order or they ran out of ginseng? I barely catch any sweetness even with the red dates. Definitely need longer brewing time.
Rice was inconsistent top was hard, below was soft or it could just be the soup i added but i feel it is not the cause. Definitely below average.
Chicken while large is pretty average. Toughness is expected even though they easily come off the bone. But because of the bland soup it doesn't have much flavor. Lack of soya sauce hurts as well.
Side though was great. Cucumber, soya curb skin and kimchi. Each with it's own unique flavor profile. So if you want better down the chicken with this.
