I’m starting to notice a trend. Love overcoming the programming of a clone, the dogma of the Jedi, and the corruptive hold of the dark side. I’m starting to think love is the fundamental nature the force, and not war like what Malgus once said.
Malgus was an edgefest, and in your case, I am wont to argue you're being naive. Love is a strong power, yes, but so is Hate. It is in the understanding of such so-called opposites that we find enilghtenment, and the deeper mysteries.
That makes sense after all, when Kanan sacrificed himself to save his family in rebels, right before he died he regained his sight, just so he could see his lover one last time. One could interpret that as the force granting him his sight back because of him making that sacrifice.

But then the anger subsides and it’s just pure focus. So again, hate doesn’t save lives. Love does and you are confusing emotions here. Plus Love is selfless while Hate is selfish.
@@TheLuconichistorically that doesn't hold up. When two civilizations compete over limited resources hatred of the rival group can save the lives of one civilization at the cost of the other. If these two groups were to only love each other and cooperate instead of compete both groups would be wiped out. It's not unviserally applicable at some point said civilization will have to cooperate with another through trade but nonetheless the characterization of hatred as purely selfish, destructive, and impractical is an overgeneralization. It's important to remember that hatred isn't usually unreasonable, there is almost always an explanation or reasoning for it. Typically it's a defensive mechanism, which like any defense mechanism can be beneficial but often becomes harmful.

Well this book was from a long time ago, before Disney bought it, and therefore before the stupid inhibitor chip stuff. This is from a legends novel, a very good one actually.
@@IrishEyes1994 wasn't the Inhibitor Chip something George Lucas added before the sale? He couldn't really justify all the clones obeying the order with how close he had them become during the war, so he needed a heartbreaking way to make it work.

Pretty much, just repressed them so much that they forgot how to be people, and the ones that couldn't suppress it were overwhelmed and exploded going dark. Overattachment is indeed a bad thing, but no attachment is just as bad. Extremes are never a positive thing.

I enjoy that there are more acts of love being portrayed in star wars. Something the jedi resented their order to allow in fear of falling to the dark side. When its been love that has saved many. Even jedi. For instance kanan and barriss figured out that love can be the strongest motivation to succeed and they became completely connected to the force in that way. Really shows just how wrong the jedi ideals had with love not being intertwined with the order. Perhaps it was also why the force allowed for the destruction of the order in the first place.

If Love was fully accepted and welcomed as an important part of life and the force in the order, Anakin wouldnt have sought other options to keep the ones he loved alive. Palpatine knew he had Anakin when he was trying to figure out a way to keep padme alive because the jedi had refused all forms of impactful connections and he used that to his own advantage

From the book The Cetus Deception | A Clone Wars Novel by Steven Barnes, the Clone Captain only had a number (but he was also called Nate in the book. I forget why though). Sheeka, the pilot, later in the book named him Jangotat meaning Jango’s brother in Mandolorian. If you ever get the chance to read the book, I highly recommend it. There are so many other things in the book as well.
