I love how they, and Boston Common, enjoyed the applause, and took real performer bows! Not ashamed to acknowledge the audience. The modern quartets stand like statues, or maybe a little nod. What's that all about? A rule change? I like the older days every bit as good! Sidebar: what would we do without these incredible baritones? Without them, only barbershop trios are left!! What kind of world would that be?
In Boston Consort, The lead was Tom Spirito, formerly the lead of the Four Rascals. The tenor was Fran Page from several successful quartets. Baritone and bass were from the Boston Common.
Tom Spirito is Lead, Fran Page is Tenor, Larry Tully is Bari, and Terry Clarke is Bass. Boston Consort is a different quartet from Boston Common. They just share the same Bass, and Bari
This was a great song 50 years ago and it still is. Memories.

Fantastic!👌💪
Curious but who is the lead? Did they not choose the lead from The Nighthawks? He's pretty awesome regardless.

How they only got 26th place is beyond me....
Different Tenor. Lead looks right but sounds different. Before Boston "Common". This would have been my tenth year. Not familiar.
