Strange! While we are claiming that Jesus is a Muslim, because Muslim is defined as a person who submitted to the will of Allah (God), they cannot claim that Jesus is a Christian because Christianity does not exist before Paul.

Biodegradable Bill RESPONDS: Me dear Tengku Mohd Affandi, YOU are CLUELESS about Pai;! ACTS 11:26 "And the disciples were called CHRISTIANS FIRST in Antioch."
Paul had NEVER SET FOOT in Antioch before ACTS Chapter 11 and in ACTS Chapter 11 it was BARNABAS that was SENT by Jerusalem to teach the people in Antioch NOT Paul. So YOUR theory that "Christianity did NOT exist before Paul is PURE Black Rock Kissing NONSENSE!

@Let Me Talk for quran all manuscripts point inly to 8th century... Surprisingly haufsa copy, 5/ 7 uttman copies which were sent to different places are missing without even a mild trace.... Ie., no original to verify according to scholarship.
We know uttman had copies and haufsa had a written copy but not found till date. Islamic text reliabilitis based on single source ie., Mohammed... The original single source is lost/ destroyed by uttman and company or missing.
Christian source of preservation is diverse source... New testament has 27 books to talk bout Jesus divinity. If 20 books are lost still 7 will prove it.
Bible is a compilation of many books by different authors. New testament is not dictation book by God. So not verbatim by verbatim. It is narration by different authors and we believe in inspiration, but individual writes using his language, style of writing, ... So we have different compilers and writers,...
But all writers are clear about Jesus divinity... And scholarship accepts it. That is why Christians have no problem with some Bible having extra books in its compilation.
It is for Muslim the believe
      1."every prophet a book"
      2. Allah dictates "so verbatim by verbatim" So no change is possible and only Arabic etc.
      3. So for you original is important because you believe in "only Mohammed" for quran and haddis.
      4. All original manuscript and first written quran lost or destroyed purposely and hence scholarship have difficulty to check or verify verbatim by verbatim same or not.
      5. Injeel introduced by Muslim and claimed dro be lost without a trace...
      6. Allah protects and copy is available in heaven.
      7. Many abrogations are done in haddis
      8. Many sahih haddis are getting knocked out by Muslim scholarship of 21 th century.
      9. Preservation of quran and haddis were done only by Muslims under kings so how it got lost?
      10. Chain of narration is by arabs, and haufs quran is perfect but haufs is a lier🙃 and his haddis is rejected.
      11. Contradictions in text...like sun setting, adult breast suckling, 4 wives for men, creation and order, jazia, fight till the last days, pretend to be a friend with Jews and Christian, apostasy punishment, claiming no sacrifice is possible but instead of Jesus someone like Jesus got crucified, satanic versus, etc...
12.Scholarship is after these kind of controversies of Islamic text
Your criteria asre applicable only to Islamic text ours is different.... Because both have different philosophy when we talk about nature of preservation.
In Christianity we don't have that criteria.., everyone knows there are minor changes in number of books or different manuscript available.... This is because many independent sources and each author write what information he was having.... Hence now scholarship has lot of source to check and cross check the divinity of Jesus and majority of them accept it.
Our preservation perfectly matches our belief and scholarship....
Your preservation perfectly matches Islamic belief but not scholarship....
So problem in validity and reliability. ... And scholarship is now digging deep and found "the holes in the narrative" - Yasir Quadi
In other words we don't claim audio recording of the text to have same script... Different writers and have different script but the story remains the same.
You claim audio recording of your text. Single source Mohammed so source is necessary without which no way to verify.
And the surprise is Calif uttman burnt manuscript... Why? Absolutely needed in this context, how can Mohammed verified text be burnt by a Muslim cailf.. How?
All originals gone like injeel. And even now many qurans.... Haufs and walsh are not same...

      Jesus was going to be crusified because he claimed he was the Messiah to the Jews, but he didn't fit there prophecy;
Allah, clearly states in the Quran,
"Remember when I protected you from the children of Israel when you came to them with clear proof, but the disbelievers amoug them said "this is nothing but clear magic".
Since the Jewish people were familiar with magic at there time in Babylon, they rejected him as the meissah thinking his a fraud as he didn't fit there prophecy, that's why he was 'going' to get crusified. Then God, raised him up before getting crusified.

      Quran, The Heifer, 2:174-177
      174. Those who conceal what Allah revealed in the Book, and exchange it for a small price-those swallow nothing but fire into their bellies. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they will have a painful punishment.
      175. It is they who exchange guidance for error, and forgiveness for punishment. But why do they insist on the Fire?
      176. That is because Allah has revealed the Book in truth; and those who differ about the Book are in deep discord.
      177. Righteousness does not consist of turning your faces towards the East and the West. But righteous is he who believes in Allah, and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Scripture, and the prophets. Who gives money, though dear, to near relatives, and orphans, and the needy, and the homeless, and the beggars, and for the freeing of slaves; those who perform the prayers, and pay the obligatory charity, and fulfill their promise when they promise, and patiently persevere in the face of persecution, hardship, and in the time of conflict. This is so interesting.
The first thing that comes to my mind is the interaction between what Jesus referred to in Matthew 23:23 and the point made in Micah 6:7 and 6:8. Is it reasonable to understand, when one reads these together Jesus, by referring to the " the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy and faithfulness" set out in Micah 6:8, that he also aligns himself to the question in Micah 6:7 which Micah 6:8 is answering? i.e. "...7 Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a] with your God."
Is this not a clear indication that Jesus aligned himself with the view that God does not require the sacrifice of first born sons for the forgiveness of sins?
The second thing that comes to mind is the content of 1 Samuel 8:7. " And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them." Was Jesus not then, by telling the 'lost sheep of Israel' that they should seek the kingdom of God, simply calling them to return to God that He may reign over them? This would imply that Jesus was calling them to return to God's existing kingdom rather than establishing an entirely new one in the future. After all if Psalm 110 says the messiah will be a priest forever in the order of Melchisidek, and Melchisidek was the priest-king who 'admitted' Abraham into God's preceding domain, then to me it makes sense that the Kingdom of God is a long standing entity in which Jesus plays a major role rather than an entirely new one yet to be established. Does this not then clarify why Jesus spoke in the present tense to his audience about the Kingdom of God?

THEN LETS VALIDATE EVERY SINGLE VERSE IF IT WAS AUTHENTIC OR NOT.
TO VALIDATE EVERY SINGLE VERSE, WE NEED TO EXAMINE TWO THINGS :
      1). THE SOURCES CHAIN
      2). THE CONTENT
      LETS EXAMINE :
1). THE SOURCES CHAIN OF THE VERSE HAD TO BE CLEAR AND CREDIBLE.
EVERY SINGLE MAN OF THE NARATORS MUST BE CLEAR AND CREDIBLE
2). THE CONTENT OF THE VERSE HAD TOBE VERIFICATIONABLE IF IT WAS GOOD, STRANGE, CONTRADICTIVE OR ANYTHING.

Allah the one and only true eternal god says:
      (33. God chose Adam, and Noah, and the family of Abraham, and the family of Imran, over all mankind.
      34. Offspring one of the other. God is Hearer and Knower.
      35. The wife of Imran said, “My Lord, I have vowed to You what is in my womb, dedicated, so accept from me; You are the Hearer and Knower.”
      36. And when she delivered her, she said, “My Lord, I have delivered a female,” and God was well aware of what she has delivered, “and the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and have commended her and her descendants to Your protection, from Satan the outcast.”
      37. Her Lord accepted her with a gracious reception, and brought her a beautiful upbringing, and entrusted her to the care of Zechariah. Whenever Zechariah entered upon her in the sanctuary, he found her with provision. He said, “O Mary, where did you get this from?” She said, “It is from God; God provides to whom He wills without reckoning.”
      38. Thereupon Zechariah prayed to his Lord; he said, “My Lord, bestow on me good offspring from Your presence; You are the Hearer of Prayers.”
      39. Then the angels called out to him, as he stood praying in the sanctuary: “God gives you good news of John; confirming a Word from God, and honorable, and moral, and a prophet; one of the upright.”
      40. He said, “My Lord, how will I have a son, when old age has overtaken me, and my wife is barren?” He said, “Even so, God does whatever He wills.”
      41. He said, “My Lord, give me a sign.” He said, “Your sign is that you shall not speak to the people for three days, except by gestures. And remember your Lord much, and praise in the evening and the morning.”
      42. The angels said, “O Mary, God has chosen you, and has purified you. He has chosen you over all the women of the world.
      43. “O Mary, be devoted to your Lord, and bow down, and kneel with those who kneel.”
      44. These are accounts from the Unseen, which We reveal to you. You were not with them when they cast their lots as to which of them would take charge of Mary; nor were you with them as they quarreled.
      45. The Angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, well-esteemed in this world and the next, and one of the nearest.
      46. He will speak to the people from the crib, and in adulthood, and will be one of the righteous.”
      47. She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child, when no man has touched me?” He said, “It will be so. God creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”
      48. And He will teach him the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel.
      49. A messenger to the Children of Israel: “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I make for you out of clay the figure of a bird; then I breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God’s leave. And I heal the blind and the leprous, and I revive the dead, by God’s leave. And I inform you concerning what you eat, and what you store in your homes. In that is a sign for you, if you are believers.”
      50. “And verifying what lies before me of the Torah, and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. I have come to you with a sign from your Lord; so fear God, and obey me.”
      51. “God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.”
      52. When Jesus sensed disbelief on their part, he said, “Who are my allies towards God?” The disciples said, “We are God’s allies; we have believed in God, and bear witness that we submit.”
      53. “Our Lord, we have believed in what You have revealed, and we have followed the Messenger, so count us among the witnesses.”
      54. They planned, and God planned; but God is the Best of planners.
      55. God said, “O Jesus, I am terminating your life, and raising you to Me, and clearing you of those who disbelieve. And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return; then I will judge between you regarding what you were disputing.
      56. As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment, in this world and the next, and they will have no helpers.
      57. And as for those who believe and do good works, He will give them their rewards in full. God does not love the unjust.”
      58. This is what We recite to you of the Verses and the Wise Reminder.
      59. The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.
      60. The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt.
      61. And if anyone disputes with you about him, after the knowledge that has come to you, say, “Come, let us call our children and your children, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and let us invoke God’s curse on the liars.”
      62. This is the narrative of truth: there is no god but God. God is the Mighty, the Wise.
      63. But if they turn away-God knows the corrupt.
      64. Say, “O People of the Book, come to terms common between us and you: that we worship none but God, and that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as lords besides God.” And if they turn away, say, “Bear witness that we have submitted.” )

      32. They said, “Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. It is you who are the Knowledgeable, the Wise.”
      33. He said, “O Adam, tell them their names.” And when he told them their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?”
      34. And We said to the angels, “Bow down to Adam.” They bowed down, except for Satan. He refused, was arrogant, and was one of the disbelievers.
      35. We said, “O Adam, inhabit the Garden, you and your spouse, and eat from it freely as you please, but do not approach this tree, lest you become wrongdoers.”
      36. But Satan caused them to slip from it, and caused them to depart the state they were in. We said, “Go down, some of you enemies of one another. And you will have residence on earth, and enjoyment for a while.”
      37. Then Adam received words from his Lord, so He relented towards him. He is the Relenting, the Merciful.
      38. We said, “Go down from it, all of you. Yet whenever guidance comes to you from Me, then whoever follows My guidance-they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.

"The impact of what Paul did was to deprive Jesus of any kind of Jewish stature." Wow... interesting. I have not studied Paul's writings very much. I think the Jewish background of Jesus is very important. I do think Jesus came to reveal God's love for everyone, including people of other religions. I know that Paul's "theology" is somewhat confusing. But disregarding the way that we perceive Paul's words, Jesus' own teachings were grounded in Judaism and hopefully cannot be seen as any "fundamental attack upon the basic character of the Jewish religion".
I appreciate the scholar's views regarding Paul. But to say " none of it comes through ever, in his letters" ( in reference to Saint Paul's understanding of Jesus ) is hard for me to swallow and accept.

Paul the apostle bases his theology on Moses and the prophets. Isaiah 53:7-12 speak of a dying and rising Messiah. But even if it hadn't been foretold, once Jesus rose from the dead, it was pretty much a given that the resurrection was the work of God, which vindicated Jesus' claims to have been the holy one, and not the cursed pretender that the crucifixion events made Jesus look like. Once God had performed the resurrection, the logical step in thinking was to go back and see how the prophets had foretold it in passages like Isaiah 53:7-12, or the story of Isaac coming off the altar, or how Jesus would be the firstfruits of what was prophesied in Daniel 12:2 and Exekiel's valley of dry bones in chapter 37, etc. God even expressed that he had the power to raise Israel from the dead in Hosea 13.14. Then there's Jonah coming out of the fish's belly, which Jesus himself referred to as a resurrection prophecy applicable to himself. In all these ways, what Paul was saying about Jesus were the same things that Jesus had said about himself, and that the prophets had foretold.

@@BloggingTheology If we start at Isaiah 52:13, he is called "my servant" and it is announced that he would be raised up and highly exalted. 53:1 could be referring to this person as the arm of hashem (see 52.10 of Isaiah). I find convincing the arguments/explanations presented by Dr. Michael Brown and One for Israel, when it comes to how the servant is the Messiah. We see connections in the phrase "high and lifted up" with the enthroned one in Isaiah 6. The Gospel of John shows these two Isaiah passages interpreted as applying to Jesus. Again, beforehand, it may have been hard to understand the passage as Messianic, but once we historically see Jesus resurrected as vindication that He is the Messiah, and we see how Isaiah 53 speaks of Jesus, then we can see that Isaiah 53 is about the Messiah. I can only provide some of the support here, and this paragraph is already long, but I have directed you to where you can find pages of support.

There is a very simple explanation for the life of the life of Essa called Y'Esua, that fits both the Islamic belief and fulfills the Jewish scriptures.
One that confirms everything the scriptures said, but it doesn't work under a western christi-anity model that claims the Messiah is some godlike entity who saves the World from evil.
When people talk con-fusing words, this is exactly what they do.
They mix up one word meaning with another, meanings put together into a new mashed up contaminated concept that only dilutes the actual truth, turning it into an iconic style false doctrine that loses it proper place and meaning to be of Bene-fit to anyone.
By twisting the truth so that others can still believe in the players who are correct, but the game has been changed and no longer played correctly.
When Y'Esua said that he came to fulfill the scriptures, for the Jews, his claim that he was the enlightened one who by full-filling his destiny was a Prince of Peace prophesied as one of the true Princes (one who bring the right principles) of the true 12 blessed tribes of IsReal.
Not that fake Jewish group who falsely and arrogantly claim themselves the chosen people.
The truth tribes of Our Creator's people who really submitted to Allah's Will and followed the one straight path given for humanity.
Those leaders of this tribe who all stood out annointed and honoured by Our Creator to bring the exact messages they were asked to impart to humanity, but wererejected. Just as Our beloved Seal of these Prophets is now being rejected by humanity as it reaches its last end and all those who follow are also sealed finding their way back are finalized.
The Messiah was never or never claiming to being just one person, but the one true light, that all those annointed shone with.
One true message, that the many messengers were given.
Their messianic duty to show humanity the errors of their ways.
Then at the end, the Seal of the Prophets, One most lovely, sent to confirm this message, to close the book, to end a word that was sent from above.
All that remains is that time given, for those who would be born to come into existence, for them to see and acknowledge this message , change their direction, to look back up to where we really come from.
To see this truth Is Real.
This the true Place of Peace we are asked to walk towards in this life.
Still there, still accessible, still being de-scribed by the very same words that have always existed, imported into every language because of the important meaning they express.
To show those who are able to under-stand this higher straight path to take to reach up where we were all de-signed to get to. To overcome evil and live forever.
True Islam, The True Path of Peace.
    live-evil
    love-evolve
    lived-devil
de-mon-straighting the true reason why we only deserve to be chained up, to be removed from that tree of life, of those who would given the power destroy life for our own ends. As has been proven by the outcome of our ugly human hi-story.
Those who failed to be what was asked of us, to be kind.
    Human-kind.

The millennial messianic Jewish community of minute 17:30 - 17:35 is inaugurated by Jesus to some degree at the first coming, but Jesus himself (Matthew 24.14, The parable of the sower, the Parable of the Wheat and Tares, etc.) and the Apostles (see II Peter 3:3-15, James 5:7--11 (two rains like the two comings and two appearances in Hosea 6:3 that James apparently alludes to), II Thes. 2 the beginning verses of the chapter, Revelation from Jesus to John 22.11 which is so much like David Gooding's explanation of Daniel's last few chapters (surrounding 12.10) ... all these testify to early Christians and Jesus himself recognizing that the first coming would not be the day of reaping and immediate judgement - separation of the righteous from the wicked - but instead there would be an undetermined passage of time before Jesus would send the angels to gather the harvest and then the judgement would come. It is at that time, after the judgement, that there would be the millennial messianic Jewish community, except that many Gentiles would be included as one with the righteous physical descendants of Jacob, as prophesied to Abraham and to / through so many other Hebrews in the Hebrew Scriptures.

II Corinthians 11.13-15 (minute 18:20-18:31) does not mention James. There is no reason from that passage to think that Paul would have considered James to be a false apostle, at least not that I can see. I may be confused because there are more than two James-named early followers of Jesus. Was the James in question a Judaizer who insisted that the Gentiles be circumcised in order to follow Christ? If James took that position for a time, did he still take that position after the council of Acts 15? "Purified their hearts by faith" sounds like the fulfillment of the new covenant prophesied in Deut. 30.6, which Paul writes of in Romans 2.29, Colossians 2.11-12. Ezekiel 44.6 makes mention of the two circumcisions - the one of the flesh seems to foreshadow the one of the heart. The Hebrew Scriptures say that both are necessary, but they point to a new covenant hashem will establish (Jeremiah 31.31-34) which will be open to all nations, beginning with Israel. God is not going to stop with being the God of one nation; He will not rest until all nations acknowledge him. See the book Hidden but Now Revealed (Mystery) by Gladd and Beale, which unwraps the bits about how the Hebrew Scriptures foretold a time of waiting between the first and second Messianic coming, and how the Hebrew Scriptures foretold a day when Gentiles would be included, even as the gods of the Gentiles would be destroyed. Not only was Israel to be redeemed from idolatry, but all the nations as well.

Christ comes from the Greek word χριστός (chrīstós), meaning "anointed one". The word is derived from the Greek verb χρίω (chrī́ō), meaning "to anoint." In the Greek Septuagint, christos was used to translate the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Mašíaḥ, messiah), meaning "[one who is] anointed".
