Male ballet dancer called: ballerino (Italian); danseur (French). I loved Jimin’s dancing in this. His shadow dancing for Suga was amazing. I love BTS! They’re so talented!
6:08 girl that’s what I’ve been saying for years. Western rappers barely even wanna rap without backtrack, or don’t have the breath control or stage presence. Danny Brown, JID, Peggy, Brockhampton…there are a few more that can go hard on stage and offer dynamic things…but even with other exceptions, it’s mostly the same vibes/styles of performance/message. Just walking around, coloring by number. I appreciate BTS every day, I swear. 💜🌹
This is a historic theater in LA.. Based on the concept that a dancer dies 2 deaths, with the first being the hardest... It's about losing their passion for their craft
The concept Though “Black Swan'' focuses specifically on the fear of losing their love for music, all these fears and pressures and doubts manifest themselves in the shadows heard and seen in “Black Swan”. In the music video, Jimin dances solo, succumbing to the shadows. the song is the quote by Martha Graham: “A dancer dies twice; once when they stop dancing, and this death is infinitely more painful.” BTS took this and applied it to the moment when an artist's inspiration deserts them, when they might no longer feel love of and passion for their music.
This is the track that changed my thinking about BTS. I have always thought all of them are extremely talented singers and dancers. But this is something beyond that. This looks like part performance art, part ballet plus part modern dance with other elements as well. I consider this a masterpiece on several levels. Take care.....
Black swan is so addicting to me & they all looked soooo fine in this era!! Taehyung’s black mullet/perm hair, Jimin’s blue hair, and RM’s purple hair are so hot! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Taehyung’s face card truly never declines & I love your smile when he’s on the screen because sameee! & you have to watch a black swan dance practice!
Los Angeles Theater Broadway and 6th downtown LA built 1931 for over 1 million. It’s actually a movie theater and not a stage performance one. That curtain is original and never restored. The mirror room Jin was in is the ladies powder room
@@JahJahHenny FYI...for a better peek at the location, the gal whose channel is called 'Cults to Consciousness' held her wedding there and used the whole facility themed in the same era. Her wedding videos are posted on her channel!!
A male ballet dancer is called a danseur. You missed the very end when the shadow leaves.Just when you think their video ends, there is usually more!Jimins' background in modern dance really inspired the choreography!💫💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💫
There is a special balck swan performance by a dance company that was realeased by BigHit. It's worth watching. Also, the dance practice is great. They performed this on James Corden and it was beautiful.
RM said he cried while writing the song. I'm sure it's unimaginable to worry one day that you'll lose your love for music. The live shows of this are so good. Since you enjoy dance shows, you might enjoy JHope's dance documentary on prime. 'Hope On The Street'. He does popping, locking, house, hiphop, some bugaloo, etc
I love BTS discography, but when they are in their hip hop and R&B grooves, those are many of my favourite tracks. You should check out HOME, PARADISE and LOVE MAZE. Another genre they do really well at is EDM/dance. Try SO WHAT, BEST OF ME and STAY. I recommend EVERYTHING!!💜
This song is one of my favorites, you should wacth the live perfomances, they are so bautiful and jimin's dancing skills stand out a lot, one of my favorites is their '2020 MMA' perfomance, maybe watch the whole thing since you already know ‘life goes on’ and ‘dynamite’ i think the only one you don't know is ‘ON’ (it has two mvs tho) unfortunately yoongi was not in this one due to his shoulder surgery, i love their 'ptd on stage' performance but I know there's a lot of copyright issues with that one but still 😞, the performance on the jimmy fallon show or the james corden one are really good too! I'm going to put the links in case you are interested:

Love Black Swan, one of my most favorites and also on the Map Of the Soul:7 album which was my first BTS Comeback album. Fun Fact: the most watched part of the MV is when V is singing the "bump bump bump" and the camera angle is looking up at him. But the whole MV is just gorgeous as you said!! Jimin's dancing is beautiful. Seriously, I could watch Jimin dance all day long!! LOL!! I have to agree on what you said about western rappers...but then I am not a huge rap fan anyway. I find most western rap to be very misogynistic like you do. When Suga, RM and JHope rap, it is totally different. They have something to say and I can understand it. It has substance if that makes any sense! I have a song I love for you to react to. There is no MV nor is there a live as they have never sung it at a concert. There is a lyric video however. It's called Louder Than Bombs. It's an ARMY favorite and was actually voted as the song ARMY most wants to hear live. Sadly, the guys say it can't happen, although we keep hoping!! LOL. Anyway, loved your reaction, looking forward to more, and OHHHHH, there is a behind you might be interested in watching. It's on the BTS YT channed, BangtanTV. That's also where you will find all of their official MV's. Alright, toodles....
Just a quick fyi, you should make you’re all the way to the end of the video . BTS is kind of the Marvel of MV’s, they’re usually not done when you think they are. Yes there was one brief no music scene at the end. Great reaction btw💜
It would be great if you could react to their song 'DANGER' it's from 2014 and if you do react to it - please check out the 'DANGER - MO BLU MIX ft. ThanH'. It shows you how they can take their own music and put such a different spin on it.
Thanks! BTS tends to portray ideas and thoughts very well in their songs or videos. The complexity of most of his compositions beautifully expresses his creative and artistic choices. To do this, they use various devices and symbols, linking literary, psychological and social references. Repeating words is a deliberate literary device that puts emphasis on something and is called Epizeuxis. In this case, "bump, bump, bump" is the sound of the heartbeat and conveys the heightened sensation of anxiety; and, "jump, jump, jump" deepens the feeling of depression and dark thoughts, adding layers of complexity to the lyrics. In the case of "nah, nah, nah" and "yeah, yeah, yeah" the repetition makes the song accessible to BTS's multinational and multilingual audience where fans from diverse backgrounds can easily sing along, creating a sense of unity and connection. . “Black Swan” is inspired by the psychological theories of Carl Jung and explores the concept of “Shadow” which addresses the darkest things that exist in all of us and that we hide or repress, for example, our fears and doubts or our prejudices. It is based on the following quote from dancer and choreographer Martha Graham, “a dancer dies twice - once when she stops dancing, and this first death is the most painful”. That's why it's relatable to Tchaikovsky's famous ballet, "Swan Lake", where there's a character called Black Swan. This song has an essentially deep and personal meaning for BTS, as it refers to the fear of losing their passion for music. The video portrays the fight between light and darkness, with beautiful visuals, powerful choreography and emotional vocals, adding depth to the narrative and representing the artists' internal conflicts and emotions. But the lyrics end with the hope that they will fight this feeling by looking deeper into themselves, understanding their feelings, knowing themselves better, and using those feelings as inspiration to make more music. 💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷💜
I enjoy your reactions but always remember with BTS to pause a second at the end, as ypu actually missed the very end. Some BTS songs connect to others. We don't want you to miss any of it💜 Thank you.
In Hispanic terms... a male ballet dancer is called a ballerino. The "a" and the "o" designate gender. The "a" denotes female and the "o" refers to a male.
I love this song so much. I'm a retired woman, and a romance author. Many of my old writing friends have 'black swanned'; they no longer write. I wonder when I'll quit. Jimin, the featured dancer, joined BTS in high school and had years of dance and martial arts training prior to BTS. Have you watched the Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari? Army will be there for that.
Several of them have trained in multiple styles. Hip hop has more genres than you'd think. Before enlisting Jungkook was taking lessons in house style. His tutor posted some videos of their sessions. Hobi is good at several hiphop styles, though his real specialty is street. But Jimin is BTS's only classically trained dancer in the technical styles like ballet and contemporary, you're right about that. He's definitely the most versatile in the group. And yes, he was the featured dancer in this video--this style is right in his wheelhouse! 💜

Ballerino usually, or just dancer. Please react to "ZERO O CLOCK" live!!! and "DIMPLE and PIED PIPER LIVE", and LET GO live!!
I totally agree. Western rappers don’t do 💩! We getting ripped off. 😂 And I grew up in Long Beach lived near Warren G and Snoop in the early 1990’s.
The bar for western men in general is so low. It’s such an illustration of it to look at what’s expected of western women rappers vs the men.
