- I know he used prepared wings in this episode, but it was intriguing to cook them.
Surprisingly, the wings were cooked perfectly; for the sauce, use a cover so you don't have to clean the microwave afterward.
Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 chicken broth
1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickness)
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp 5 spice
1 tbsp soy sauce

to be fair the wings were leftovers microwaved and the ones made in the video were fresh and since they were leftover they will taste different wherever you get the original wings

I'd like to add that before Benson started singing, he had asked Rigby if there was any paprika. Even though we don't see him put any on the wings, that exta ingredient could lead to a tastier result

I’m not sure if you can get the oil up to a consistent temperature in the microwave. A food thermometer is useless since putting metal in the microwave Is a bad idea. Maybe just shallow fry or something

Oh my, this is at the top of every fire station's list of things not to do. 😅 The risk of a grease fire is very high if oil splatters into the microwave and sparks.
I'm sure ya do cleanup after, as there's bound to be oil everywhere since it was uncovered. Ya wanna be sure to soap it all down or it'll continue cooking the metal inside of your microwave with each use of the microwave until there's a nice hole burnt inside.😅 Not joking, it's happened before with less oily foods as well that weren't covered!

Things that could go wrong with this
1) glass cracks because of overexposure to heat glass cant expand and oil will elevate the heat causing it to crack oil spills everywhere worst case scenario microwave catches fire
2) semolina poisoning, although oil would be hot when placed inside the microwave this wont fully cook the wings because it needs to be at higher temperatures to ensure it fully cooks and kills any bacteria on it if chicken isn’t cook correctly you can get sick because of the bacteria
3) soggy chicken :(

once the chicken wings were sealed with hot oil the microwave cooked them inside in minutes with almost no lost of humidity... vere clever tbh
