My favorite battle this war by far was the Warden's pirate cove push that took place in Weathered Expanse yesterday. We were able to push up from a lowly BB on a beach in the middle of nowhere to threaten the Weathering Halls Town Base with just infantry and Mortar teams. A few tanks even made it across the mountain! It was a glorious battle, with logi always arriving right when needed. Unfortunately the Collies got fed up after a few hours and organized a barge operation with dozens of men to take out the pirate BB with Tremola launchers. Well played to both sides!
I've had a few people send me reports about this! I'm excited to put it together for the war summary! Thanks for sharing your perspective from this battle!
@@RobertLovesGamesi was one of the logi players for this battle. Wardens had go dodge a lot of colonial pirates in order to land supplies. My last supply truck submitted its order right before the bunker base was destroyed (i think by a colonial naval landing). GREAT battle
Hey Robert, I have been fighting the same front this war. Mostly as an ambulance 🚑 driver with ISL+. Highly recommend building a couple of medical bunkers for the frontline bunkers. I'll put them to use!
@@RobertLovesGames Additional tip my friend, make sure you rotate the bunkers so the beds are on the wall and not blocking the entrance, and make sure to make an entrance so I can carry CWS out of the medical bunker back into my ambulance.
That last push to the town hall was awesome. It was great running into you at Fort Duncan just before my untimely demise to that artillery shell. I love your style of battle breakdown/highlight videos!
For any new players out there watching if you notice the bunker is 7 pieces don't be confused, a 6 piece bunker core is what you want to aim for. I'm sure it was just an accident from some of the help Robert was getting that they built an extra bunker piece. Or maybe they had to because it wasn't let them place down the bunker on any of the original 6 pieces for some reason. Building can be wonky like that sometimes.
So I know with the first bunker it was a husk and when we rebuilt it every piece was T2 so we had to add on for that one. Other ones were husk as well so we can blame the Colonials for those :D But yes overall great advice that you only need 6 pieces and that's generally what you should build first. Thanks for adding this information! It really helps!
I am returning player from around 2018. I played Charlie wardens after the infantry update, fighting Maidens Veil for a long time and re-learning the game. After I got bored and my DnD GM invited me to play 120 with them I switched to Colonials on Able. It's a very different expirience from Charlie on frontlines, so I decided to do more backline work and joined small regiment (66th) to help them with facility in Drowned Vale. I enjoy it, though it can be a bit boring occasionally, but I try mixing it with frontline logi and scrooping to break the routine. I've met and helped a bit Admiral Heinz when I was on Charlie, I was a bit confused why so expirienced player decided to go with less coordinated shard and doing building/facility instead of fighting, but I think now I understand. It really is a peaceful life.
Hahaha what a surprise to know that you are on the warden side and that FELB appeared alot in this video, FELB is a Brazilian regiment and I am in it, I even believe that in the bridge fight section I was shooting alongside the AC. I hope to meet you one of these days and it will be an honor to help you build, GG
Nice! We had a lot of good players during this push! And a lot of people willing to help build up our gains! And yes please do say hi if you see me! GGs!
i just picked up foxhole from the recent sale, and yesterday was my attempt at giving it a proper go after watching some basic guides (some even from this channel). i was a colonialist during the middle stage of this battle between fort duncan and the ranch, and wow, what a fight that was. i was there for 5 hours at least, and the constant pushback both teams were giving eachother was wild. i remember one of the times we were able to get past the bridge, i was running thru trenches and using bunkers as cover, and it turns out those were yours! when i got on earlier, i decided to try to start understanding logi, and i ended up making a run to fort duncan. it was amazing to see how the battlefield i died dozens of times defending completely changed after you guys took it over, then later lost it. i have less than 10 hours in foxhole, but im already completely hooked, and part of that was due to an affect you directly had on this specific battle.
This is my first war, I joined thanks to discovering the game from your channel. And just realized that the arty stopping you from building fort duncan it was me haha. It's being such a go and back. That fort duncan doesn't scare me anymore to lose it
Nice! Welcome to Foxhole! And nice arty shots! And yes that area has seen a lot of back and forth! I really thought we could hold it after this push. It's a big area to cover though as well. GGs! Also if you have any questions about the game feel free to DM me on discord any time!
This video is short lived as we colonials own 2 relic bases and 1 town hall EDIT: this video doesn’t show that the colonials did take outwhich ranch 2 days ago (Europe time)
Happens sometimes :D Sometimes we hold after these videos sometimes we don't. And I must have just missed when the Colonials had Outwich because it sounds like when I was playing.
I was a gunner on one of the half tracks at the start. The que to get into the hex seriously broke us up and we were under pretty heavy fure as soon as we got in. Great fight though.
As a Colonial in this war I don't know how I feel about Robert being involved in the sector I've been fighting against :D Been running Logi out of Abandoned Ward to help this front.
You are right about adding damage dealt by structures you built, in fact the devs should add more stats for everything because Foxhole is very much a numbers game at heart. I would be very interested in seeing how many bullets i fired, how many kilotonnes of HE I unleashed, how much supply the enemy stole off my used shirts.
Experience as a combat player will definitely help you be a better field engineer. Since you asked for some pointers: If defending large flat areas with a new bunker, take stock of the local storage depots and seaports. Since AT garrison takes a couple days, and AT pillboxes fall off in effectiveness once the end tech is out, a good defensive combo can be an EAT sitting in front of an MG garrison. Always be on the look out for a good octo spot. Filling in enemy trench lines can be just as important as building your own. The front ebbs and flows, you don't want the enemy to recover good defenses for free. Plan your AI when laying down bunkers. Use binos for ranging, and pick an important spot to set up AI. Remember that the bunker AI range is 80 meters. For quick "eyeballing it" 2 small grid squares on the map is approximately 80 meters. Building good trench lines beyond AI range is another skill worth having. I like to pick terrain that is already favorable, such as a cliff face, and instead of fortifying it, I fortify ground watching the approaches. That way I'm not cluttering the space for the players who are already in a good place, but allowing other players to watch their flank. You'll know you've done this right when you see people you don't know using your trenches. And final point, I used the same method to learn this game: "This war, I'm going to learn X", and you're in the right place to learn field engineering. The fluid front is where your defenses probably won't last long anyways, so the cost of building them wrong is low. Additionally, you'll probably get the chance to build in the same place multiple times and try things a bit different each time. Cheers bud, keep up the good work! Maybe I'll see you in the field this war.
That's a good point! Kind of like playing frontline makes you a better logi player as well. I will try and work on finding good octo spots this war. I have never built one so this should be good! And yes I have started to be better at identifying which trenches need to be filled in. Good tip! Great tip about layout and using binos! Love it! Good call about the trenches! Thanks for all those good tips! Appreciate it! And yes please say hi if you see me! Cheers!
one thing you should state in the videos is the border bases it spawns. I think the collies capture most of them if not all, and that before killing the last town hall they should be secured first.
Man I’m disappointed I didn’t see you this battle. Gg Robert, so many battles I’ve participated in with you there, but I’ve missed ya. This is my first war, after learning about Foxhole, you can imagine my surprise to find out it was already in my steam library! Hope to see you on the frontlines at some point!
Happens sometimes since I record these battles normally 1-2 days before it's published :D sometimes they stay the same some times the other faction pushes back. I can't really watch the map up until I publish the video and make updates on the fly ya know?
You will probably enjoy defending the Citadel in Linn of Mercy when the front will be close to it then ! CSU Coalition has been working super hard on this base to turn it into the ultimate fortress of the west
I haven't finish watching yet but seeing as how you're rolling with Wardens with time round, I'm interested to see if you spent at anytime at the east bridges, north of Southblade. was the gunner on the mortar halftrack & one of partisans sneaking through to hit logi and armour that's roll over the bridge. But the time I had to call it a day "half a day later" the Wardens seems to be getting rather miffed at our attentions. Colonials, farm that sweat, blood & tears x3
I was in this battle, but too bad i am logiman that i can't see you :( but i'm glad that we can push colonials out of LOM at that day, i supplied like every basic stuff but enough for other people to push on. GG man ^^

Nice idea to switch over from time to time. Notice finch from your community highlights previously was on wardens and switched. Common amongst veteran players or do most stick to one faction? Great vid as always 👍
Depends. Some are die-hard loyalists; most in my experience though tend to take breaks with the opposite faction, though usually they do this on Charlie (for those players on Alpha).

Im the idiot that spent most of christmas break digging in serenitys blight collies finnaly got all the tier 2 bunkers down then hyper fixated on one of the concrete bunkers shes still standing so far
Idk why, but i really dislike building or repairing as its boring, yet digging trenches is fun for some reason. Both are just holding left click, so im not sure why they feel different to me.
give it 10-15 days and we colies will lose due to as always, having inferior tanks that have no coax and range, leading to getting pushed back and back. i realy dont know why the devs favour one side over the other.... Once the outlaw the silverhand and the widow is unlocked thats gg for us its like playing with a timer, after these get unlocked by wardens the 15+ warden tanklines will pop up and just wipe the floor with colie tanklines as usual. Wardens: Better ships, Better subs, Better gunboat, Better superheavy tank, Better machine guns, Better tanks, better light vehicles, Better halftracks, white ash, the attachment grenade launches are far more useable and vesitile than the lunaire, warden artillery has longer range, hangman rifle etc etc..... The only thingthat colies are better at is taking this biased bull.... i can imagine the hissyfit the wardens would throw iff their precious Widow or Silverhand wer made a fac. tank like the collie LTD or the Spatha, or even better the Coax from the outlaw got removed.
Losing Robert from the Colonials is a blessing. He was giving us a losing streak but now.. The Colonials shall crush the Wardens

Vamo brasil🎉🎉
Woo!!
allat for us to take it back again
Idk why, but i really dislike building or repairing as its boring, yet digging trenches is fun for some reason. Both are just holding left click, so im not sure why they feel different to me.
lol the linn was a warden arty party ez win
118 doesn't really count but I will allow wardens the 3 wins
i was thereeeeeeeeeeeeee
Woo!!
give it 10-15 days and we colies will lose due to as always, having inferior tanks that have no coax and range, leading to getting pushed back and back. i realy dont know why the devs favour one side over the other....
The only thingthat colies are better at is taking this biased bull.... i can imagine the hissyfit the wardens would throw iff their precious Widow or Silverhand wer made a fac. tank like the collie LTD or the Spatha, or even better the Coax from the outlaw got removed.
i played my first ever game like 3 days ago..... i picked warden
ill be honest.... its not looking great for us
Charlie shard is getting on my nerves. We have like half the player base stuck there and it isnt ending anytime soon
Devs will probably just close it eventually
Hey I'm First 😃
Woo!! Nicely done!
