Yeah that’s true and tbh I think Liam would fit that role nicely since he is well versed with the team already due to his 3rd driver role. All he really lacks is race experience

Alpine did make some good signings this year. For example they restructured their technical department and signed ex Ferrari and McLaren designer David Sanchez to lead this new structure. They also signed ex Ferrari and Mercedes engineer Eric Meignan who will be working in Viry. And finally, regardless of how controversial he has been in the past, Flavio Briatore has also been appointed as a consultant.
@@F-Duck1 I think they finally understood that they needed a deep restructure of their senior personnel. They fired a lot of employees that have been at the team since the Renault years. They are also changing the core of their team, as highlighted by their McLaren-esque technical department and the prospect of ditching Renault for a Mercedes engine partnership. Them losing Ocon will hurt them in terms of driver performances, despite his questionable team work he has been better than Gasly this year. And I refuse to believe that drivers like Bottas and Jack Doohan would perform better with that car.

Aston really should be near the very bottom they ended last year 4th best and are now 6th-8th best and every upgrade seems to just make it slower
That is true but I’m not taking last year into account for these rankings, only this years performances.
