He does still seem to identify as Jewish at least to some extent, however; his children had bar and bat mitzvahs, he has in the past been a supporter of Chabad Lubavitch, an orthodox/Hasidic movement, and he attended their yeshiva in the late 80s. He also notably read from the Torah on Yom Kippur at an Atlanta synagogue in 2007.
