Seriously, my camera wasnt pointed in the direction of the doors so I had no clue that the bell even did anything. Even if I did there's nothing really to hint about rearranging the rooms in any of the collectables aside from the agents that had a hard time getting out through extensive trial and error

I figure it out. When you ring the reception bell, the door next to you will open.
Just pull out the chair and don't touch the rest, ring the bell again and you'll see the first door open indicated by the sun from a room. Go in the room and grab the key to open the door with a red square.

So once you’re in the motel the bell on the desk will open the different doors down the hallway if you look down the hallway while ringing the bell you will see the light from each door opening/closing. Push twice I think until the last door is open and you will get a key inside it. Ez pz

I just made the second room similar to the first room and it opened the third room which had the black pyramid key on the desk. I was able to open and close the doors by pressing the bell and listening to the doors.

You just need to remember the position of the chair the painting and the small flower pot. Fix them all good except from that of the chair, then the door of the next room will open to take the keys and from there it's easy.

There is a sing before entering the motel that explains that it operates in the rule of threes and the light switch is a pretty obvious hint as well. It's not all that hard with a little though and observation.

I loved the motel. If you feel lost because the game gives you no hints maybe you need to read the documents better. There is a lot that is explained in all the papers that you collect. The game is not straightforward and i like it. The motel experience was one of the best things i've seen in a while.
