yup, not sure why a lot of people is trying so hard to show that they're smart by pointing that out. A lot of student athletes have a minimum score to get admitted, so that's pretty much equivalent to pass/fail for them.

No coach is going to waste their time and the school's money trying to recruit a straight C student with a 800 SAT score. You need a minimum 2.3 GPA regardless of your test scores to be eligible to play your freshman year.

I took the ACT test. I did some googling, people talk about the SAT test so often in the media and elsewhere that I thought it was a different test, turns out, they test the same freaking things. In the ACT, they test more stuff. The major difference is the score scale. With ACT, the score scale is from 1-36. The SAT, the score scale is 400-1600.
