sucho is the biggest mid tier(not including sub adults as mid tier) and has good match ups against all other mid tiers including sub adults and even a decent match up against a rex 1v1 style but has poor match up against giga but it can get bullied pretty hard by some mid tiers like cera/allo and dibble out of those three dibble has from my knowledge the best matchup against sucho 1 on 1

I couldn’t recommend carno enough. While it is not very strong in fights it’s the fastest dinosair in the game, has the least chance of break its leg on stupid objects, and as a baby you don’t need water at all and can survive off 1 Ava gore. Fast growth and easy to grow, being fast it’s also great for learning the map and observing other players from a distance while still learning the game, a fun easy to play class. But don’t do a fight unless you have the numbers, carno 1v1 fights are best done by the experienced. If you wanted to play something to test our combat I’d say dilo or allo, not as easy as carno but are better suited for combat. But carno you can argue is still best because it can always run away from a fight it can’t win while a dilo and allo may get bodied hard.
the suchos speed also doesnt help its match up against others since allo is faster and cera is too dibble is slightly faster but also the bleed heal/resistance is none to great compared to the others allo having good bleed heal doesnt help and all of its main opponents in mid tier doing decent or good amount of bleed
