On row 6 and i have accidentally created the cutest weenie dog I have ever seen.... I have peaked, thank you for this awesome tutorial XD
I’m so curious now to see what it looks like 😂
@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam I ended up going back a couple rounds to try again xD my color selection was not on point so now it turned into a naked mouse.... gonna try again with the proper supplies lol
Aw mice are cute though! 😂
Im pretty sure i failed this because i was using cheap yarn and not the plush yarn you were using,, i made a rat im laughing my eyes out
Rats can be cute too 😂
OMG. i came here for the turtle and this is the first video i see and i cannot wait to make it!!! such a fantastic tutorial and i've been dying to make a dragon but they all look so labor intensive. these are ADORABLE, thank you so much for sharing!
Of course! These aren't labor intensive at all, the only thing you have to do is sew the wings and tail piece(s) on!
Such a cute pattern, this is my second project ever with crochet and I was able to do it. Didn’t take very long either
Thank you! I’m glad you found it easy to make!
*intense breathing*
_screams_
IT LOOKS SO CUTE I MUST MAKE IT..
Edit, 2 hours later, im on row 6 (im not slow i was just doing a whole lot of stuff besides crocheting)
2 more hours later, im on 24!
And it's so cute Im dead and I have accidently killed my family
Maybe half an hour later after last edit? I'm making the wings!
Keep going you’re almost there! 😂
@@StitchesBeCrazieTH-camI finished about 20 minutes after saying I was making the wings i finished him and im making another with non plush yarn!
Oh my goood thank you for this tutorial !! I am in looove with your little dragons ! I will try it as soon as I finish my exams ! 🤩
I hope you love the tutorial!
why's the music so sad 😭
wonderful tutorial though, I'm halfway through and I love the little fella already
@@JuKii7 I wasn’t aiming for sad music it just turned out that way 😭 but I’m glad you like the tutorial!
@@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam It's great, I finished one yesterday and I'm going to make the flower one too, thank you for the video! 🖤❤️
@@JuKii7 of course!
On accident I put the safety eyes between 3 and 4 and I actually kind of liked it😅
if you make a pure black one and give it green safety eyes it would look just like toothless❤❤
@@Solar_Void668 I made a black one but I gave it white eyes and now I regret it 😭
@@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam it's still probably looks really cute also the one I am currently making is using both black and white yarn so it kind of looks like a night light
Ooh that outcome would look super cool!
why does mine look like a rat
@@joan.willy. 😂
Hi! I tried to make this pattern but everything kept turning out lopsided
Oh no that’s not good! You might have to shift the placement of the arms/legs to get them to line up because of tension!
I have never crocheted in my life so im gonna do this
This pattern’s not the best for beginners, but if you’re determined enough you can do it!
My first successful piece came out wonderful, but he be chonky 💕💕
Chonky adds a whole new level of cuteness! 😂
JAAyBShanDgVshsNz THESE ARE SO FREAKIN CUTE AHHH
Thank you 😂
The sweetest baby dragons, that I have ever seen! Thank you for sharing it with us and for your helpful tutorial!❤!!!
Of course! I’m glad you like them!
I accidentally added a third pair legs at the beginning
Sounds like a cool mod if you ask me!
If you add more it can be a centipede
@@Solar_Void668 a centipede dragon hybrid! 🙌
Lol ok…. I did it😶
@@LilsparksBobross988love how does it look? 😂
@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam how is there 6 stitches in rd 5 but the pattern says 4? if it was correct then it would be 4 but you said and worked in 6. dont mean to sound rude im just confused that if i do it exatly how you did it and followed the pattern there would be 2 extra not worked in, pls explain, thx
also how do you do you dec, i see they are different then what im used to and looks like it almost makes 2 rows instead of 1, but that could just be bc of what i usually see
After completing everything in the parentheses twice, we have 4 stitches left to do the last 4 inc in! Also my decreases are done by using the invisible decrease method!
This came out so dang cute!! Thank you
Of course!
❤🎉 sooo cute! Thank you for your time and teachings.
Of course!
I’m thinking about making this in black fluffy yarn. It would kinda look like toothless from httyd.
No way I’m currently making one in black fluffy yarn 😂 It’s kind of awful though since this pattern requires consistent tension and that’s difficult to do with fluffy yarn (at least for me 😅)
SO CUTE! Thank you for the tutorial so much!!! LOVE IT! 💜💜💜
Thank you! I’m glad you love it! 💜
Which size of plush yarn have you used ?
And what hook size is best for it ?
I use weight 5 plush yarn with a 5mm hook, but any yarn works! The hook size depends on what you feel comfortable using/ what works best with your tension/etc!
Hermosos tutoriales muchas gracias ❤❤❤ saludos desde argentina 🇦🇷
❤️
Nice and super cute! Thanks for sharing!
Of course!
Which hook size works best with 6 weight super bulky plush yarn ?
I don’t use super bulky yarn so I’m not sure! I’d recommend crocheting a short row with different hook sizes to see which one works best!
Start with a 5 but you can up up to 8. Your dragon will be much bigger than this one.
Thanks for replying but i am confused a lot about what yarn to use, what hook size to use , I am a complete beginner , and also finding ut difficulty to hold the yarn in correct way
Can you please help me in all this?
BTW the 6 weight yarn - Super bulky which i have bought have mentioned 9 mm hook size, so i have to use that one ?
@@harshita_puri lots of tutorials on youtube for crocheting. I just started in January and learned from YT and started with small projects. It is practice, practice, practice!! :) Trial and error. I have a few fail projects from when I first started. :) Have fun!
I'm new to crochet, can you tell what it means R1: 6sc in mr (6) 🥺 thaaaanx❤️🩹
@@meryc.l1874 it means 6 single crochet in a magic ring!
If I wanted to make a bigger dragon would that be possible with this pattern
@@k.c232 you can use thicker yarn with a bigger crochet hook to make it larger!
I accidentally started using 6.0mm and now its so big but thanks for the tutorial!
Jumbo dragons are the best dragons!
Great pattern! Will I be able to make the same with a medium 4 worsted yarn? I don't need the dragon to be plushy
You can use any time of yarn to make these dragons! Just make sure you adjust the hook size accordingly!
Buenas! Quedó precioso! Podrias decir que tipo de lana utilizaste por favor?🥺 Y la medida de los ganchillos?
@@meryc.l1874 I used chenille yarn with a 5 mm hook!
will these work for light/medium weight yarn?
@@isabelle98k this works with any type of yarn! Just make sure to change the hook size accordingly!
SO EXCITED to not be a beginner anymore so I can make this!! Once I get in more practice ima make so many of these babies 😂 I’ve had it saved on my crochet playlist for a couple months now and I can’t wait to make oneeee
@@sleebyfaif I admire your patience! I remember being a beginner and picking the most advanced thing to make, it was a nightmare 😂
I went ahead and bought the pattern because #PDFSupremacy haha (still gonna need the video though lmao)
Amei a receita 😍 sou do Brasil, agradeço pela legenda das carreiras, fica mais fácil de entender. Mas até mesmo sem legenda, você faz devagar e dá para entender bem o que está fazendo. Obrigado ❤
That's awesome to hear! I'm so glad you found the tutorial easy to follow!
Hey, thanks so much for the cute tutorial. I have a question though. I'd really love to crochet this dragon, but I have no experience at all. I'm starting from scratch and don't know much about it. Is this video still suitable for me?
@@Cookwithme.mp4 If you’re starting from complete scratch (don’t know how to do stitches, etc.) you unfortunately wouldn’t be able to make this from the video alone
@@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam Ah, okay, thank you ❤️. Could you perhaps recommend a video or a book for beginners? Also, when would I be ready to start this tutorial? What skills do I need to have beforehand?
@@Cookwithme.mp4 I don’t know any specific books or videos, but you can look up videos showing how to do the basic stitches/the crochet basics! It takes a while to get the hang of it, so I’d recommend practicing on beginner patterns first (my chicken nugget tutorial is a good example), before trying to make this dragon. Also the specific stitches you need to know how to do are listed in the abbreviations at the beginning of the video :)
@@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam Thank you very much ❤️
@@Cookwithme.mp4 of course! Good luck!
These are super cute!❤❤❤ I used your link and purchased the pattern from Etsy.
Thank you so much! I hope you love the pattern!
Awww super cute, thank you for this adorable pattern ❤
Of course! ❤️
Rd 5
What size eyes are you using for this weight yarn?
10 mm!
Thanks!
Thanks for the lovely pattern.
Of course!
I noticed it's increase times 6 in row five not times 4
It’s inc x 4 after completing everything in the parentheses for the 2nd time ❤️
Oh
Yh I got 6 as well
Love it am going to try and make it
Hope you enjoy!
Can u make a pdf post??
I have the written pdf pattern available on my Etsy!
@StitchesBeCrazieTH-cam yaaas thanks so much I just can't stand tablet AND sailor moon at the same time, I'm watching sailor moon rn😮💨
