Sharing your life with Macaws in the desert, requires daily sources of humidity, similar to their native habitat in Central and South America.
During the warm months a swamp cooler provides a perfect source indoors, and outdoors a misting system gives us both humidity and a way to stay cool in the high summer temperatures.
During the cold months, humidifiers are placed in every room: where they sleep and where they spend time during the day.
With 88 degrees we spent time outside and everyone was happy, we hope you are happy too!
