I’m Welsh and this is a pretty normal thing for us as well. Though I don’t know if it’s the same for the Scottish when it comes to an outsider joining your group or a friend of friend, and someone tries to roast one of them, it usually doesn’t end well, I imagine that for you guys the outsiders are more willing to join in and not take things offensively. That accurate?

Right. I think we, as followers of JT, should start a collection to bring him over here and buy him a ticket for the front row of a Frankie Boyle gig, and tell Frankie Boyle beforehand. JT, the condition is you are NOT to shave off that beard.

At your point at why would you go to a comedy show wearing a suit, Many reasons, Work function? Going straight after work? Maybe you had a nice meal set up and the show came after. In our situation we had tickets to a show that our mate convinced us to get tickets to, 10 days before the show our mate passed in a traffic accident. His funeral was on the day of the show. We went to the show. He was the person to convince everyone else it would be a good show. And he was the only person who couldn't be there.

I just picked myself up from the living room rug I was laughing that hard. Frankie is brutal, but the audience knows that he's just a big teddy bear. Keep up the good work. Fantastic to hear a proud Kentuckian reaction. (You might know that about 40% of Kentuckians have Scottish and/or Irish roots, so this stuff is close to home).
